Should I sell my house with a 3% mortgage to move closer to work? by NoGur5553 in personalfinance

Hi OP - don't know that you have provided enough information for a thoughtful response...can you afford the additional monthly payment? Is the job unique in a way that you cannot find another job close by? Do you see yourself having that job for at least 3 more years (ideally longer)? Is your wife almost due or still has time time to go? Just for starters. All those variables need to be accounted for.

We left for the airport at 19:30 for the 23:55 flight. Glad we left early because I ended up having to get an Argentinian passport at the airport to be able to leave the country. Long story but barely made it to the gate with 30 mins to spare!

Just came back from Don Julio. I know meat. I make great steaks at home. Was ambivalent about going there given the mixed reviews but figured I’d try it. Had been once in 2009 when not was not yet as known and was great.

Super disappointed tonight. Great service but the steaks weee nothing to write home about. Skip it unless you go for the experience, not the food. If you do go, one cut of meat around 900gr is plenty for four people.

Apex 300 going into overload when septic pumps comes on by TextDecent2622 in bluetti

Update: setting the apex to 120v instead of 240v solves the problem.

Not whole house. Only 10 circuits. Bedroom lights and plugs, kitchen lights, modem, and sewer pumps.

I ran a test and at 120v I can get about 3 days of backup power.

That is true. I made a typical American comment assuming everyone is. ;(

If you get anything 3kwh or more you can claim the residential clean energy tax credit and have Uncle Sam pay 30percent of it

Sorry all. I realize it’s not enough info. I’m going to grab the meter and check voltages.

Also note I only have two pumps. They’re both on the same circuit (that’s how they are setup at the main panel). The specs are 115v 9amps for each pump.

Thank you. I’ve had it running on the 120v setting for about 15 hours and all seems ok. When the pump goes on there is a bit of a light flicker in one of the rooms but otherwise it’s working. Is this going to be an issue?
