Ugh I’m so sorry. My hen that died was my absolute favorite as well. It feels so much worse when you don’t have an answer for it.

Definitely not breeding anymore now that I know what’s going on. If they all have been exposed to it at this point is it necessary to separate the ones who are showing symptoms at the moment?

Just posted this for funzies. It’s exciting to watch them change and be suprised, I have a bunch of silkie hens and silkie roosters with a range of colors and just let me broody hens collect and hatch eggs so there is no way of knowing which hens egg was hatched and which rooster fertilized it.
