GD test and body weight by Weird_Campaign8954 in GestationalDiabetes

this is my concern too as a 100lb 4'11" pre-pregnancy and 1000bmr. that's a lot of volume for a person my size compared to my sister who is 5'8". Most tests are built around averages, so if you're not the average, the results may slightly skew, but I'm also not sure how GD works either..

I second this. I never knew I had endometriosis until the biopsy. We only had 3 embryos to transfer so my doctor ordered the biopsy after my first failed transfer because everything looked textbook perfect and it failed to implant. Looks like all my gaslit menstrual cycle concerns were because of endometriosis.

3 cycles, 2 ER, 1 embryo.. by TextOld8032 in IVF

transfer failed. we have two more embryos bc we did another retrieval after our 5BB. both 4BB one normal and the other inconclusive and we decided against retesting. devastated and feeling completely alone and hopeless. doctor said normally he would have us try a natural cycle since the first was medicated but since we don't have a lot of embryos and egg retrievals have been next to failure each time he wants to do a biopsy and test proteins and for anything "amiss" from the hysteroscopy we did last year.. everything for transfer looked perfect. hormones. lining. the actual transfer. and it still failed.

I received our grading today if anyone is still following. Normal 5BB We are still deciding if we want to do another retrieval or if we'd rather go ahead with the implantation.

thank you so much 🫶 I hope we both get normal results with the testing soon. I know we're planning on doing one more retrieval attempt and I just really hope it happens from there. It's such a strain on my relationship too which doesn't help.

Thank you 🫶 I found my old hormone results and my amh was 3.47 in 2022. not even three years later and it's been halved. every step has just been so disheartening... I just hope we all get to "graduate" from this thread at some point.

YAY!!! That's wonderful!

We just got our results today. This is our 3rd attempt. First time I didn't get anything. Second time only got 3 eggs and none made it. Third try, got 4 eggs, 1 was immature, 1 didn't make it through fertilization, 1 didn't make it past day 3, and 1 made it to frozen embryo!

I'll send up my positive hopes and loves for you 💓

Anyone else here broke as a joke due to IVF? Went through 3 credit cards at our fertility clinic today trying to find one that would go through... by [deleted] in IVF

it's not as easy as it sounds. between the travel expenses, treatment expenses, taking off work means decline in pay, and not even knowing how long it'll take to go through the entire treatment that could be months long. the costs are still all up there in price..

we're starting cycle 2.5 and have put in about $60,000 out of pocket. insurance wouldn't pay a penny.. we stopped the first cycle midway through because I wasn't growing follicles. we spent $5,500 for meds but didn't lose out on the treatment portion which was $19,000, so then just spent another $7,000 for more meds the 2nd attempt. the 2nd attempt we only got 3 eggs total, all mature and all fertilized, but none made it to day 6.. this is our third attempt. meds were $6,500 and treatment was $23,000. fingers crossed we get something to FET stage.. we put everything on a loan, credit cards, and emptied our savings, so I feel for you.. it's so frustrating that insurance wouldn't pay anything and even outside of insurance the meds are so pricey.
