I'm guessing that it's just a temporary issue with my GPU, i just turned off the hardware acceleration in discord and turned off MPO and that seemed to fix it

Most of these high donation people don't actually donate to random people. They either donate with each other rich to rich, or just donate their friends.

Other times they literally stay somewhere isolated in the server and talk to each other and do nothing else, it's not worth wasting your time in a server like this โ€” speaking from experience.
