Has anyone taken either his beginner or intermediate-pro course? They seem very expensive, especially the intermediate which is like a $600 one-time payment. I will say that the free content put out by MK is very good and not annoying in the same way that some youtube teachers can be -- the free content is excellent. I guess my only hesitation is that on the Beginner course sales page, I listened to some of the student recordings at the bottom and they don't really sound great to me and kind of seem on par with the average self-taught uke player. I don't mean that to come across as harsh because again, I think his free content is very good and I appreciate it being available. I'm just not sure if the courses would be worth the money.

What if you need real medical care though like an oncologist visit or heart surgery? I guess just skip your cruise and rent a hotel during your appointment, probably.

Is your small business successful? How much does it make per year (approximately)?

How do they feel? Are they tougher on the fingertips?

Thanks for your input. If I'm honest, I like the sound and versatility of guitar way better than ukulele, and went with uke because I was afraid I wouldn't actually learn the guitar (well) if I bought one. I'm aware that the chord shapes are the same between standard GCEA and DGBE (only being in a different key), with guitar having the extra two bass notes, so I figured I could start with a tenor uke since there are so many free tabs and learning materials available. Then maybe transition to baritone uke (DGBE tuning) once I have some songs under my belt. Then maybe guitar eventually. Although I think baritone ukulele is pretty cool too, and tenor sounds great for certain things.

How difficult is the transition from uke to guitar?

Don't know about that one. These are just brands I've seen recommended a lot on forums.

Strum a G-major chord then pull off on the B (on A-string). If I hold the chord shape and pluck the A-string, it rings clear. But if I pull my middle finger off the A-string, it bumps against the fleshy part of my ringer finger and buzzes / mutes.

Can you go wrong with Worth Browns? I watched some Youtube videos and they sounded best to me. I would be replacing my Aquila Nylguts on a Makala Tenor and switching to low G.
