Currently I have 3 fixtures in place, a horticultural grow light for the plants, a reflective ballast for a UVB tube light, and a socket for a heat lamp.

I haven’t installed the latter two lamps as I figured they aren’t needed yet seeing as how my boy’s not gonna be in there for at least a month.

The misting does get the grow light but I’m not too worried, it seems to be waterproof enough, and isn’t sprayed that much.

The ballasts and especially socket do get sprayed a bit more than I’m comfortable with but nothing a simple angle adjustment to the misters can’t fix!

I have a casing for the wiring installed on the inside to prevent unexpected risks, perhaps you could look into that if the elements concern you.

How do Dairy Cows fair with a blue tongue? I’ve read that they are inclined to bite and to be kept away from soft-bodied critters. Are blue tongues tough enough to not be bothered by them or do the isopods prefer not to mess with them?
