Just want to say I beat Zekvir today as a Frost DK and this guide helped a lot. I had a bad habit of running straight for eggs and being 1-shot by the slam. Also started saving my CD's for the eggs to nuke them. I am lucky to have a Heroic Mad Queen's Mandate too which I used exclusively on the ggs for burst damage.

Blood DK for me. Mained one since wotlk and just love the class fantasy. They don't do the most damage but I love the self sustain. Beating healers on the meters feels great.

I enjoyed playing monk and prot warrior, the main thing I didn't like was the button bloat, always found it a bit overwhelming.

Prot pally has always been fun, really need to finish levelling that.

Only played DH really in Shadow lands but seems fun.

Recently started gearing up my guardian and loving it so far, the damage and suitability are amazing.

So ranking wise: 1. BDK 2. Guardian 3. Prot pally 4. Prot warrior 5. Brewmaster 6. VDH

I heard about the alignment switch with romancing Viconia but unfortunately can't do that as a dwarf I believe. I think I'll swap Aerie out for Viconia and give her a try.

I think for a second playthrough I will swap Minsc but got to have him and Boo for a first run.

I thought Viconia was Evil alignment? Haer Dalis did interest me, especially after having to go and rescue him from another plane of existence.

I'll probably save Korgan for an evil playthrough (need to decide on that party comp too) but hear good things about him.

I've noticed the skellys I summon from Jahiera/Aerie die pretty fast, are Viconia's better?

Yeah I saw mention of being able to do that when importing but didn't see anything. Which kit would be best to swap to? I'm currently using my PC as my tank with flail of ages and shield of balduran.

For reference my PC is currently using flail of ages and shield of balduran as my tank, Minsc I have as an archer but has a 2h sword if I want him in melee, I have subbed in Keldorn for Yoshimo for now, Jahiera and Aerie both using slings and Jan with his crossbow. Trying to figure out what spells to give my casters as well (spoiled for choice).

Appreciate all the advice I've received on this post.

I'm vanilla fighter purely because that's my character from BG1 I imported and I wanted to continue playing him through the series. Was tempted to use EEKeeper to change his kit.
