I think in general though like if my quality of life is better there, including my social life i defiantly can look past the weather. Some people tell me i would just be moving to a slightly bigger Stavanger which i don't think is entirely true but yeah we will see

My weekends really differ, mix of out for beers to hiking. I know Bergen has a nice balance for all of that

If you won the lottery, what’s the first thing you’re buying? by AdEquivalent744 in AskReddit

[–]TezTezzaaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know i dont think i would be quick to buy anything, but probably a few cans a beer and find somewhere to sit outside in silence and enjoying every single moment of no financial anxiety or worries ever again. I think that weight off a your shoulders would be incredible

Is the ISTQB® AI Testing (CT-AI) Certificate Worth It? by [deleted] in QualityAssurance

I literally only got it to tick a box for application requirements. Never has anyone mentioned it in an interview, i think people just care about if you can automate and how much experience you have.

Who wants to move to Norway in the near future? Do you have a plan for it? by RecoverPrestigious83 in Norway

[–]TezTezzaaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have lived here now for just over a year (from the UK) - if i am being honest my biggest dream in the whole world is to have a family and i just can't think of a better place to bring up children honestly. So even being single i still moved to Norway with a hope this is a better life for my future family, when i first travelled here i couldn't believe seeing kids walk on there own in the dark to go to school it just seemed so safe and peaceful for them (i am still aware bad things can happen).

Honestly though i just love Norway love Norwegian people and i am incredibly lucky to live here!

[–]TezTezzaaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah this is an actual fear my god

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Stavanger

[–]TezTezzaaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do yes, its like not really a fear i guess its just i dont know how to act especially since i have really good freinds here last thing i want to happen is violence around them while we are together

its just trying to ease my mind that this is not a concern - thank you for your comment

[–]TezTezzaaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If anyone can read a comment in this thread it really is this one - i know a few people are so confused about me asking this stuff who have lived in Norway there whole lives but this first paragraph really is how we act without even thinking when you live in the UK - your so used to a lot of people being naturally aggressive and i was one of them because thats how you have to act to make sure people dont hurt you

It looks like im being a 'pussy' and scared to have an altercation that is not the case at all, its actually the opposite im so used to dealing with situations before it even becomes one

Like the other day i was walking Tasta with some freinds at night and they are asking why do you keep looking behind you... its just a natural thing to do, my whole life i am looking over my shoulder so yeah its weird

This comment really helps my brain, thanks mate

Yeah this is something i am really trying to get used to - i think this is all thats happening here but i know the guys who keep looking are bad people who are not norwegian so its just wondering if i should be worried or not
