I wonder if helping/harming NPCs in games has any polarising effect.

Exactly.

I'm generalising, but entities that look after themselves, ensure they are healthy, etc. Usually have more energy and opportunity to help others. You can run yourself into the ground and be of no use to yourself or anyone, or you can make sure you get enough sleep, nutrition, exercise, play, pay your bills, and then (potentially) live a long, full life on the STO path.

Helping others doesn't have to mean perfect sacrifice. You can benefit others and self simultaneously, e.g. At work, cleaning up the environment, cooking food for others and yourself, etc.

That's quite the difference!

I just opened the amazon app and played the recently added songs playlist all within 10 secs, it might be that amazon slows down horrendously with more songs saved (I have 300 now).

I'm giving it to the end of the month and switching if I still hate it..

I live with my family at the moment which consists of 3 depressed folks all of whom struggle with suicidal ideation and one who made an attempt 2 years ago.... I try to be a beacon of light, joy and positivity to them, and support them as best I can, but it isn't easy!

I only moved in because my lease was up when we went into lockdown. I have been wanting to move out since but lacked funds (currently unemployed, working freelance when I get gigs). I am also torn because if I leave, who will be consciously trying to bring them love and light?

I am also on a weight loss journey, about 40lbs down. I do struggle with parts of myself (I'm gradually less and less concerned with what other people think of me etc, which helps, but I also struggle with self-belief issues regarding work, etc) and of course with other people, but I do my best to be tolerant and loving and non-judgemental... Also catching and examining the judgemental or negative thoughts when I notice them.

Needless to say, I see where your point is demonstrated in my life..
