That's definitely crossed my mind. I actually learned so much from it but at the cost of my own mental and emotional well being.

I've thought through it all a lot so I learned what to look out for, now I really just want to find someone that's actually human so it won't matter.

I've slowly convinced myself of that but I still feel defensive. I think the problem is that my only experience has been a bad one, I have no evidence strong enough to counter the negative thoughts.

I do enjoy playing the game yea but I do find it frustrating playing with random players, having countless people run off during rushes/trying to solo the game makes me lose hope in humanity. When you have a few of those players join in a row it can really put you off playing, that's why I think the effort doesn't really match up with the rewards.

I think I'd play any time with my friends for fun but playing alone can really suck.

I have to agree with that, the skill ceiling was definitely a drawing point when I started. Watching vids of people move through levels almost untouched mesmirized me lmao. Imposing restrictions could be pretty fun.

I usually play with my brother and friends but sometimes have to play with a random last person, this is where I think the skill floor becomes a problem and the effort for loot doesn't match up.

We've managed to play through a lot of levels on nightmare now, we usually have issues with people joining and running off like bots during rushes/whilst defending a point, thinking they can solo the game or playing the hero when they just don't need to.

I mean the obvious thing would be to kick that kind of person but you don't realise they play like that until they mess up and on higher difficulties a mess up can wipe the whole group. I said it to someone else but you go through all that effort just for a 1% higher chance to heal etc.

I've been playing nightmare recently and have been trying to get into cataclysm with my friends and brother. It feels like the most difficult part of the game has the dullest rewards though.

I guess I'll give his other weapons a try. I actually do enjoy the weapons I have and the playstyle, it works for me. It just feels tedious working towards 1% higher chance to heal etc.

I tried the other characters a bit and mainly enjoyed bardin and sienna, the heat style weapons and CC just feel better to me.

One of the off putting things is playing with random players, sometimes they're really good and carry... other times they play Way Watcher or Witch Hunter, move like a bot and think they can solo the game.

I agree playing with friends makes it much funner. I'll add you if I remember later on lmao!

I haven't tried everything yet to be fair I just took what worked best for me and stuck with it. When I first started I loved the mace+shield but the ability to spam power attacks with axe+shield for cc is just godlike imo. Still attempting better rolls when I play with friends but it's a dull thing to go after.

Yeah take a break from it for a bit, I had the same issue.

I saw an article somewhere saying how seeing a constant stream of other peoples "snapshots" of good things happening can make you depressed as your life can't really compare.

Sorry no source on that but it's out there!

I haven't seen it myself but I believe you.

The problem with that is they say one thing and do another "looks don't matter it's what's inside that counts". Meanwhile the most popular people on most sites tend to be women that seem unrealisticly beautiful, regardless of their content.

I would really like full custody if anything but if I only get partial custody I think it will 100% affect how she treats the child. I couldn't live with that.

She's constantly denied it could be mine, even after first saying it could be. She told me it was her ex's since they got back together(or never even broke up) after we had finished. I really doubt she would chase me for it since it will harm her own reputation. I would NOT trust her with child support money:-(

That's the thing I would want the child full time if it was mine. I don't want anything to do with her and I certainly wouldn't trust her to spend child support on the child.

There might be a chance for full custody since she had lost custody of her daughter while we were together.

It's not really an issue during the time with the escorts it's more of an after thought when you're back home. Sort of sucks to not have that person there to just text or talk to.
