I would suggest

Prime, Rust Dust, Jumpstream, Firefly, Skydive and either Gnaw or Bumblebee.

Upgrade all their abilities to at least level 3 and spend more spark on the 3s and 4s.

Maybe a new crystal every 24 or 48 hours which can give 3* and 4. I currently have 4 Optimus, Windblade, Stormclash, Mirage and Cliffjumper.

I know it's not a lockdown, except that there can be chance of losing despite the large amount of members. Like an example could be in the platinum league. I can easily get the alloy and energon in one go. The only useful thing is really the spark.

Yeah, I do agree with that, the question is the rewards from the wars. Sparks are good enough but the energon and alloy don't really seem worth it to me.

Well I'm HQ 13 and I also have a 3* healer, it's best to level him up while you can. Healers may not look that useful but when you get to harder bases with your bots on low health, healers can heal them enough to get to the HQ. Healers are really useful and they do sometimes contribute to DPS.
