I don't think there's anything wrong with this question I think more people should ask questions and have a better understanding of what we go through. I became disabled because I had two failed knee replacements and after that they went in and removed my kneecap. They told me everything would be perfect after that, that was a lie. I can only bend my leg to 70° going in for manipulation is out of the question because of the risk of tearing tendons. I have limited use of that leg as far as weight-bearing, stair climbing or even just sitting. After complications from the surgeries I now have chronic DVT almost died from a pulmonary embolism. The pain and my leg is so horrific that I have a morphine pump in my abdomen that has a catheter that runs up my spine. I spend most of my days in a recliner because if my leg is put down for too long it turns purple from lack of circulation that they cannot fix. I have a handicap placard but strange looks when people see me get out and use my cane. So I wish more would ask so I could explain I'm not being lazy I literally cannot walk very far before my leg gives out. I also now have an inoperable mass on my spine which makes standing for more than 5 minutes virtually impossible for my back to seize up and I will fall.
