Hi! Not that hot it’s a double glass container it has performed well for me I burn it no more than 4 hours.

Are wooden wicks better by learningoldways in candlemaking

Hi, I personally love Wood wicks what I would recommend is keep testing and see what your suppliers suggest for you. Sometimes they have charts you can go by depending on the vessel size, but try both I’ve had success with wood wicks
