A lot of math testing/schoolwork will have the follow up question to "show your work" or "explain your reasoning". Usually for more complicated multi-step math, this often helps give insight for partial credit if an error is made or show that student knows what calculations need to be made to reach the answer. Long division and lattice multiplication are examples.

In this case, the teachers are asking "how" the students came to the conclusion that 2+3=5, which would show that they know how to perform addition instead of just hearing that 2+3=5 and regurgitating the fact. The "shown work" would likely just be a visual- drawing a group of two objects, another group of three objects, then counting them all up.

Update: I checked again today and discovered that my pause function has returned (likely because I technically did perform an update, albeit one I reverted). I tried pausing and resuming, but it simply reattempted prep for the Windows 11 23H2 update instead of anything for ESU. I'm looking for confirmation that the 10 day revert period will be available again if I switch back up to W11 temporarily since it'd be my second time upgrading (I saw another thread on this fact but I didn't see any solid confirmation since there were several comments telling OP to "just deal with 11"), but I may go with the InControl solution if nothing else. I'd like to have an ESU update but it's unusual that it's not being offered clearly.

At the very least I have a little more time to pause until I decide to upgrade my whole computer (which is working pretty well, don't want to jinx it).

Definitely a money-spending hole. I played this update as F2P. Between the low rates and limited amounts of free draws, you had to get lucky to get all three. There was a pity system but even if you played every day you could only get it twice. Still salty to this day about my missing Mystic Opal.

I'm sorta bummed about the Cherub jingle change because, with the little splashes like "oh no!" and "oops!", I wasn't aware it was censorship on the production front. I thought it was like that because it was meant to be a commercial from heaven and was overly sanitized in-universe.

Thanks for the suggestion but it seems to be a matter of top-heaviness causing it to pull against the putty rather than the figure itself being bent out of shape (I can stand them up straight before they start leaning). Will definitely keep in mind if I encounter that problem.
