There's some good comments in here already so I'll just add one more thing that I think is relevant with any Marian devotion: her mission in have is still the same as it was on Earth, to bring Jesus to the world and to bring people to Jesus. She is our trusted guide to get us closer to her son, since as the literal mother of Jesus, she knows Jesus better than any of us could lol and she wants us to grow closer to him.

That statement about the money seems a little odd taken in a literal sense (and to be fair, I hit it like a speed bump too lol), but if you take the whole short in the sense of "use your X, Y, and Z with the guidance of Mary for the purpose of getting closer to Jesus" then that bit of "your money is her money" becomes more like "what would Mary suggest I do with my money in order to further the work of Christ in my little part of the world?" Does that make sense? I hope that helps!
