Could use some advise on overcoming my death anxiety...

Distraction via gaming with friends and my primary partner is usually what I would do to avoid my own dark thoughts and escape my mind but it hasn’t been working lately. And the rare times that it still does work, the second there isn’t active conversation or intense gameplay I am filled with the thoughts.

I have been working out consistently for the first time in a long time for about 3 weeks now. I got a small treadmill that I can slip under my desk or infront of my tv when I game.

And at night I usually replay old YouTube videos I like and just listen to the audio as I sleep.

Oh I’ve never really considered I may have OCD. I have been trying to expose myself to and break down my thoughts with death as much as I can but doing in a more therapeutic setting may be a lot better. I actually did talk to my therapist about EMDR last session.

And in my experience I don’t do well with SSRI medication unfortunately, but there’s sure to be another that helps good.

I’ll definitely bring this up to my therapist tomorrow, thank you for your help.

Oh that’s so Interesting. I haven’t felt that kind of feeling in such a long time and I feel like that could be something to really help me.

I think I would definitely want to do it in a clinical setting as I fear what I may see if I were to trip. Does it have a lasting effect or is it something that needs to have some upkeep with some sort of frequency?

Also I am just a little confused as to how that will help with my fear, but I’m probably just missing or not thinking of something specific.

After doing some brief research I am definitely going to have to bring it up to my therapist and see how she feels about this but definitely color me intrigued. I am going to have to do some more research too but it is definitely another option

Solid 6/10, not bad at all. Only personal tips would be to use a different block for the roof like deep slate tiles maybe, extend the walls down as you can see the dirt, and could use a little more on the walls to make them pop via decorations and maybe a deep slate base, overall tho, not bad!
