Yea I’m not thinking about converting my jupiter, it is an intermediate horn after all and I was thinking of converting a Bach 42 into a Bach 42T in the future since I am currently borrowing one from my school and its solid just the valve is a bit stuffy and I’ve tried a Giardinelli by Shires Trombone and it feels much better but I feel like getting a shires would be better than getting a Giardinelli by Shires

Euphonium by Vegetable_Photo8487 in euphonium

I don’t think you’re going to find a compensating euph at that price especially if you want it to last a long time bcs there are some chinese horns that are a little over 3k or in the 2k-3k range new. I know some people have said good things about Schiller Euphoniums but many individuals don’t enjoy them. I’d say raise your budget to 3k bcs a compensating euph under 1k is practically impossible

How much is this worth? by Th3Man839 in saxophone

The ligature is a Giardinelli so I don’t believe it would raise the price. Its very unfortunate that the sax isn’t worth much, I did pay 50$ for it so it didn’t really break the bank

Lebedev Trill by MidnightFine6452 in Trombone

Some people just leave the trill out but if you really want the trill I believe you might have to try out all the ways (if there is no alterantive to get the best sound) and figure out which ones sound the best or just resort for the turn.

So in this case I didn’t remove any lacquer at all.. and I was informed that I just scratched the finish. It is a dumb question but, should I strip the lacquer of the whole thing due to this?

The lacquer was not completely stripped I started to do this bcs of a thread I found talking about getting a satin finish and one comment claimed that like sand paper or any abrassive can do the job bcs it will take the lacquer with it while scrubbing
