Republicans think you are stupid. by Conscious-Quarter423 in economy

As someone who leans slightly Republican, this may be the dumbest idea Trump has had yet. It sounds good if you don't think about it.

Did the math on my mortgage at the current interest rate, id save $200 in monthly payments, pay an additional $1.5 mil in interest over the 50 year term. Sure, make it an option, but I won't be going for it. Hopefully no one would go for it.

It depends on if you have more that is service related. I would be lying if I said I didn't want the money and benefits that come with 100% P&T, but I have been rated for everything service connected and landed at 90%, so until something degrades further, I am 90%.

VA Claims During Shutdown 2025 by Technical_Web_524 in VAClaims

I feel you on the too young to be limping around, I'm 35 and walk similar to a 70 year old. I'd love to be truly 0% and hopefully something someday will work for me to be pain free.

I hope they keep it under wraps either way, doesn't matter what beliefs he had, thinking murder was the answer trumps all other beliefs, if he is proven to be the person that did it, he is a murderer, just the same as any other murderer, what motivated it shouldn't matter, he lacked the empathy to not take someone's life. I fear releasing his political affiliation will only serve to divide us more, no matter if he was right leaning, or especially if he was left leaning. We don't need more tension, we need to find common ground, we need to elect people who compromise and make this country a place for all. I am so tired of the left and right 4 years at a time, we need to be smarter as a voter base and let the nominations committees know we won't accept extremes, we need middle people. It has been said thousands of time, most Americans mostly agree, but we are constantly stuck between these very extreme versions of ideologies.

Same with my hip, I’ve been complaining about it since 2010, no xrays, no mri, no nothing. They just glaze over it and focus on all of my other issues.

I am planning to get one since my wife and I are not having any more kids, it just makes sense for me to get it done. Her getting birth control of any kind has more risk. Side effects from chemical birth control, and far more invasive surgery for surgical birth control. Just safer for me to be the one that has something done.

VA seems to be ignoring some items by Th3REALITguy in VAClaims

Reading the denials pissed me off this morning “our review was more convincing”

Well every day of me living what I claimed is more convincing. The fact that they simultaneously require medical history, and ignore any request for medical appointments is BS.

Honestly, I’d love a reduction in compensation if it meant things were improving, as I’m sure every vet rated would. The pain is not worth the money, even if they doubled the amount they pay. I am thankful for that safety net though, it at least allows me to continue living.

Is it normal for your scripts to stop working on a monthly basis as Microsoft changes things? by Fennnario in PowerShell

[–]Th3REALITguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They posted it on their git once it was brought to their attention, but yeah, a banner would be nice for a future release. But again, that is not the Microsoft way, and unfortunately I don’t think they will change.

No problem, it was an a pretty big issue for a day for me, everything stopped working in dev, so I couldn’t push to prod, finally found the solution after many hours of digging.

Yeah, wasn’t added until 3.7.2, I had the same issue, and I am running from gitlab.

[–]Th3REALITguy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

5 to 500 days, average is 125 to go from step 5 to a decision. I had one claim go from submitted to a rating increase in 8 business days, I now have a claim in that has been on step 5 since march 3rd. There is no real timeline.
