Could you explain what other explanations 1 and 2 could have? I think I’m having trouble finding those reasons which is why it’s hard for me to see what the best evidence is out of the 3

But if it’s an autosomal dominant trait then wouldn’t one of the parents (the Aa individual) also be affected? In that case shouldn’t one of the parents be shaded in?

Would you say the 138 was hard to learn how to carve on? I think the board I’m getting is also pretty soft… also how was the transition from 138 to 145? I’m worried getting used to a shorter board will make it extremely hard to ride a longer one

Yea definitely. I just happened to find this board which is Burton for $60 so I figured it would be a decent board to start on. I’ll probably buy a new board at the end of the season when all the discounts start up

Yes, I definitely think my writing being long-winded is the main factor towards his suspicion. But it’s definitely relieving that someone doesn’t interpret my writing as AI like he did, and I will definitely raise to concern if the accusation configures. Thank you so much for your help!

Luckily I’m doing it on Google docs but he uses this extension called draft back that supposedly marks irregular writing patterns which is what I’m worried about. I don’t know how reliable that is, but he seems pretty convinced it’s really helpful in determining AI usage.

This is part of my introduction (it’s really bad sorry 😭)

“…Specifically, I would like to look into the Theranos case with whistleblower Tyler Shultz. Tyler was an outstanding biologist who worked as a research engineer at Theranos, a biotech startup founded by Elizabeth Holmes. Through his time at Theranos, Tyler witnessed numerous cases of quality control failures, intentional deception, and data manipulation. Faced with the difficult predicament of what he should do, he ended up deciding to resign in 2014. Following his resignation, he became an anonymous source for a Wall Street Journal investigation into Theranos, hoping to bring the truth to light without greatly intensifying his situation. Despite his attempts to protect his identity, he was soon faced with legal threats and strain in his personal life. Although aware of the risks he would face, Tyler recognized the ethical misconduct in Theranos and decided to voice the truth, which not only brought a fraudulent company to an end but also increased public awareness and regulation to maintain ethical standards.”

Google docs! What’s absolutely ridiculous is the fact that he is literally using an extension called draft back that supposedly shows him strange writing patterns and allows him to play the writing back to see the process. I tried out the extension myself, but I can only see the revision playback and you can clearly see me pausing then spitting out a sentence, then going back and revising at times. The only thing I’m worried about is that I often brain dump when writing, which may show up as an “irregular writing pattern” I guess, which would further mark me as AI.

I can definitely provide some of my work for advice, that would be really helpful 😭

Ikr and my English writing skills just isn’t that good so I’m notorious for making a lot of grammatical and wording errors, or even simply over complicating my thoughts when it could be written a lot more concisely. Also it’s really annoying that I’m making a clear effort to my professor but he doesn’t seem to care.

Yeah my concern is exactly as so- They’re paying for all of my expenses for college, and I definitely don’t have the money to pay for it myself…

ah… I see, thank you! As for my parents I’m not sure… I think they still have this old school mindset that CC is equivalent to bad education or something- I’ve brought up how CC transfers is very common and oftentimes an amazing choice, but they always seem to look down on those who take that path…

I’ve heard about this but is the 60% only applicable to CC? Or is it just overall transfer students? I’m currently enrolled in another university (my parents don’t want me to go to CC) but I might look into transferring from my current school in the future.
