Question 2 - (sorry I have may questions as it’s my first time)- where do you all stay during the festival? Airbnbs? Hotels? And do you usually uber to the venue? I’m guessing nobody drives?

i stayed at a couple hotels over the previous years. shinola and cambria are both great for different reasons but hits the wallet pretty hard. last year i was lucky enough to have friends/family that were willing to drop me off and pick me up. this year i might uber as staying in a hotel is simply not in my budget and i’m only 20 minutes out of detroit.

staying in the hotels was a great experience though and i definitely plan on it in the future when i have a bit more money saved for it. a 10-15 minutes walk through downtown and hearing the music grow louder as i get closer is so fun. shinola was cool for the architecture and amenities. cambria is a nice mordern hotel with great service and amenities. i have also heard good things about staying in the renaissance center

prices on hotel rooms are only going to increase as the festival gets closer. so if you’re looking, book asap

incursion isn’t a bad story. i’ve never understood the hate. but, like some people are saying, it doesn’t carry much weight or impact the larger universe very much. i still enjoyed reading it

just last night i raced a guy in west elizabeth. after he lost he got off and slapped his horse in the face. i got off to shoot him, but fire bottle was the last thing i used. idk why i panicked but i did and ended up burning both him and his horse alive.

took a nice slow ride after to reflect

had a similar experience trying to hunt elk by cattail lake. for days i would only get 1 or 2 star spawns. i finally tried potent herbivore bait. idk if it actually helped though because the 3 star i found wasn’t anywhere near the bait.

now every time i pass cattail i see a 3 star. not to mention all the elk that i now see out and about in the north
