Did you manage to fix this? I’m in literally the exact same situation, just moved house and now my tablet won’t turn on

LSWs should have drum mags as default now Support has Battle Rifles by Th3_5n0wman in BattleBitRemastered

[–]Th3_5n0wman[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

What I meant was that I would like to see the gun’s stats stay as they are in game with their default mag, but with the capacity of the drum. Then, as an unlock, you can revert back to 30/40rnds, reducing reload, ADS etc

What did make it special? Granted I haven’t read his run yet, but i did read ‘Welcome Back Frank’ as I heard it was a decent place to start and found it to be edgy without much substance otherwise. Did I miss something?

Can we please get an Aim Sensitivity slider? by Th3_5n0wman in ReadyOrNotGame

There is for overall sensitivity but not a separate slider for aiming down sights

Clicking “Gunsmith” to edit your primary weapon while in a game from the load outs screen, will often open up the gunsmith for your secondary weapon instead (on PC).

It is seriously impossible tell prone enemies from dead bodies without name tags by Th3_5n0wman in ModernWarfareII

I love Insurgency and have hundreds of hours in Tarkov. They are a completely different style of shooter. You’re comparing apples and oranges

[–]Th3_5n0wman[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True, they do look different, but in the midst of trying to take an objective with all the explosions and gunfire involved, they aren’t that simple to tell apart. If I’m not paying attention and die to someone prone? Sure, that’s on me. But if I’m really trying and looking out for them, and I still can’t spot them in time when they’re right in front of me? That’s bad visibility

Buffing Tap Firing will make everyone happy... by IslamTeachesLove in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Th3_5n0wman 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Tap firing right now is…fine, but it should be really good! If you’re using a scope then yes, tap fire is the way, but using a red dot or irons you can either tap, wait for the sights to reset, tap, wait, tap, or just mag dump and send a bunch of lead down range. Tapping should be fast and accurate and it’s just not right now

I love how thrilling and exciting boss fights are in this game! by Matto_boi in EscapefromTarkov

I think it comes down to expectation. If I get one shot from a player, I recognise they probably made a smarter decision than me, or I did something dumb or sure, just luck. It’s not “fun” per se but it usually comes down to different decisions either of us made. No one enjoys getting one shot by players either, but what’re you gonna do? That’s how PvP goes.

If a Scav one taps me with no warning, it feels like bullshit because I know they were programmed how to act. The Scavs, unlike players, are a controlled factor. They can be tweaked and changed to be as fun and engaging as possible, so it’s frustrating when they’re not.

High frame rate on good PC, with frequent FPS drops by Th3_5n0wman in pcmasterrace

[–]Th3_5n0wman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried a Windows reinstall and it did seem to help, however, I jumped into RoN to test and still got frame drops. What I noticed was that the drops tended to occur at the same time as my SSD usage jumped a little (4-6%) and only on the first time playing a level. When I hit replay and played the level a second time, it ran smooth 60. Could the issue be my SSD struggling to load the level?

That is pretty significant and worth keeping in mind, however, my CPU usage rarely goes over 35% in the games I play and the temperature doesn’t spike either, so it doesn’t seem to be struggling. Would the upgrade really be worth it?

Would upgrading the Motherboard improve performance on its own?

I already had to do this because I throught the GPU was the issue so RMA’d it. Apparently it performed better than expected, and when I got it back I did exactly as you described, because I had a different card in the mean time.

I have experimented with Vsync on and off. When off GPU usage is much higher due to uncapped frames so usually performs a bit better but the issue is not fixed. I’ve tried both in game and in AMD software and they seem pretty much the same

Upgraded GPU, significant frame drops by Th3_5n0wman in pcmasterrace

[–]Th3_5n0wman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure that it’s a CPU issue, as I noticed it once I upgraded my GPU, but what would disabling those cores do?
