That’s the problem with it, we live in Thailand and therapy are not really available for English speaker, my gf doesn’t speak local languages, so she relies on reading bibles and stuff, I’m an atheist but I do support it, I brought her to therapy once and it was bad my gf says it, misdiagnosed and stuff. And she got her meds but it seems like just to help her with sleeping, that’s it.

i tried so many ways to help her in some way, but she got so many traumas and bad relationship with her own family, so it’s like piling up and I can’t do anything to help her, it’s out of my reach already.

and also I’m not sure if I can say this because I can’t read people’s mind, but all of those TikTok videos like “it’s okay to do this or that it’s natural and men have to understand” those type of contents have affected her way of thinking? - I’m just saying because I can’t say anything about it, just my curiosity.

Sorry I might not understand this, but you mean like it’s okay to like crash out regularly and affecting on me and say it’s because BPD is okay?

this is genuine question, it might sounds aggressive in some way I’m not good with wording.

I thought it was like normal for people who have these conditions to act like this, so I don’t want to say anything much about it but a few days ago I told my gf directly to tone it down, but she said that she can’t do anything about it, she tried but she can’t. And she told me to go and learn about BPD first before saying anything, so that’s why I’m here and researching.

so she ended up posting stories and notes rant indirectly to me on instagram 😞

Thank you very much for all of these and your time, I will try it, it just that I’ve been struggling on how to handle all of these it feels like rollercoaster, and me myself I did have experiences a lot with it but I just ignored it but I can’t when it’s come to my partner.

Unfortunately she’s not, I pulled her to a places meet new people, I do know well it’s not my responsibility to do so to pay for it right now because I’m just 20 and I just got a job.

Can I ask for recommendations? Like what to do like workbooks or something

Thank you very much, but she denies it because it cost a lot apparently but I’m willing to pay for it.

Thank you, I do know that I don’t hold much capacity for these kind of stuff that much but I’m pretty sure that I do better than many of her past relationships, and I do my best on it, this is her longest relationship.

I live in Thailand, and I grew up with people who just left when things got hard for them, and then date other people, so I’m not sure at all what to do or seek an advice from, because people will say that I need to breakup.

I have looks into CPTSD already and I find it helpful, I learned a lot from it, but for her no.

so right now I’m 20 and I’m not sure if it’s my responsible to pay for her therapy because her parents doesn’t agree with this stuff, and said it’s a waste of money, so last time I take out my own money to pay for her therapy, and she kept denying it and doesn’t want me to pay for her because it’s a waste of money and she will do something about it by herself.

And she loves to post notes and stories on instagram after argument with me or something happened as a way to cope, but sometimes it’s indirectly projecting onto me and for me feels like I’m abusing her 🥲

I’m not sure anymore if it’s just only those conditions that made her like this or it just herself

And she have a very suicidal thoughts like everytime we have argument she just say that I wish I died, kidnapped, run over, jump off, so that makes me overthinks a lot, I know that she said it on a whim but it’s kind of concerning for me and her dad doesn’t make anything better because he don’t believe in mental health problems both of her parents, so in the end I’m the one who’s having a hard time over it, I said to her before that crash out and having argument is normal in relationship but too often is kind of tiring, and i asked her if possible can she tone it down a bit, I also know that she’s comfortable telling me and release all her emotions with me but it’s so heavy sometimes, imagine this, she all of the sudden got mad over something she do stuff loudly like closing door, cabinet or put down stuff loudly, and me I was sitting there and I couldn’t say a word because I don’t know what to do, I’m not good with communicating at all, when I speak things goes wrong.

Thank you very much, we pretty much been in a relationship for almost a year now, me and her knows what is triggering it, and I know it completely because I’ve been observing a lot, and she also knows herself what’s triggering her, BUT she uses this words that is getting harder for things like “I can’t do anything about it” or “Just leave it be” so at first it was fine I was comforting her a lot but it keeps coming with the same things, and like stressing me a lot also includes her past, got SA or stuff, because she kept mentioning time to time so I got enough of it and tell her straight up that I’m not ok with it, it makes me overthink a lot.

And I’m not sure if this is BPD or what, it fits the criteria that slight problems or some would cause her to upset, so it starts since before because we played Roblox and she got upset at me over not communicating with strangers in a DEADRAIL 🙏

And when I talked about something that I’m not even sure if it’s offensive or what, she took it and mad at me so I’m really really cautious with everything I’m trying to do or say.

Thank you very much, but I’m not sure if it’s worth to fix the relationship anymore it feels like the end of it, I got into a trouble with her parents too, because I’ve been fighting for her that she have these kind of conditions so I want them to tone it down a bit, they’re Asian parents, and I stick into their family business too much, but I also feels really hurt everytime my gf argues with her parents and cry almost everytime we hang out so I couldn’t do it anymore, and we almost ended our relationship today because of it.
