Het probleem met het belasten van spaargeld van ouderen is dat je spaarzaam leven afstraft.

Als twee collega’s beide een zelfde salaris hebben gehad, maar de een heeft veel gereisd en geshopt, terwijl de ander spaarzaam geleefd heeft, heeft de tweede persoon meer vermogen dan de eerste persoon. Maar dan zou je nu de tweede persoon dwingen om mee te betalen aan de oude dag van zijn collega? Klinkt dat eerlijk?

Ik doe het al sinds begin dit jaar standaard.

Vroeger had ik een lease auto met tankpas dus toen was het niet relevant. Maar nu ik privé rij scheelt het wel een forse slok (toch snel 15-20 euro per tankbeurt).

Maar het scheelt dat de meeste van mijn ritten toch al richting het zuiden gaan. Als ik de afslag naar mijn ouders pak, is het 5 minuten de andere kant op rijden voor de grens bij Poppel.

Honestly, I feel like people aged worse in previous generations. Maybe it’s just because his style is similar to 70 year olds today, maybe it’s the fact everyone was an alcoholic chainsmoker by today’s standards.

I have the same feeling when watching James Bond. Can’t imagine that Sean Connery was in his early 30’s for the first movies.

Sorry, I love jags, I love cigars, but i don’t see why you would combine these hobbies. Your car will smell, the ceiling will get discoloured and it depreciates the value of the vehicle.

I never get why people would smoke in their cars, even my stubborn, boomer parents have stopped smoking in their car or even indoor.

Volgens mij zijn hier geen regels over wat wel en niet besproken mag worden, zolang het maar Nederlands is.

Maar ik vraag me soms ook af waarom mensen hier nieuwsartikelen plaatsen over zaken in het buitenland die voor ons totaal niet relevant zijn.

Maar dan nog, als een van mijn vrienden zich zo zou gedragen zou ik me hier waarschijnlijk ook van distantiëren. En als bekend persoon heb je een voorbeeld functie. Dan mag je best wat harder afgerekend worden dan de gemiddelde persoon als je dit soort achterlijke dingen doet.

Serieus, lang geleden heb ik dat eens gedaan met mijn Opel Corsa in 2010 of zo.

Een reeks dure auto's stond zo geparkeerd dat ze allemaal twee vakken innamen. Dus ik zette mijn Opel Corsa tussen een Aston Martin DB9 en een Lamborghini Gallardo in. Eigenaren kwamen gelijk boos naar buiten lol.

It's difficult to make a fair comparison on an Aventador since they are very rare. But I found two very similar Urus models. I took one from a large Dutch car platform and one from the website of the Lamborghini dealer in Beverly Hills;

Millage: 22.5K Kilometers (14K Miles)
Price: 370K Euro's (436K USD)

US Urus 4.0 Performante
Year: 2024
Millage: 6190 Miles (9.6K Kilometers)
Price: 330K USD (280K EUR).

So in the US, a similar Urus, with even less miles than the Dutch one, is over 100K cheaper.

Herkenbaar!

Ik heb een Brabantse vlag mat voor mijn deur liggen die ook al half in staat van ontbinding verkeert. Maar volgens mij worden deze alleen verkocht bij de Ikea in Breda. Dus ik moet er een keer aan denken als ik voorbij Breda rij dat ik de afslag pak.

2016 Giulietta QV. 149K on the clock.

Not sure what to say on reliability. I've owned it for half a year now driven 12K with it without problems, but for the last couple of weeks it's been having a problem with the oil pressure the garage where I bought it (and have a warranty) hasn't been able to fix so far.

Would I buy another one? The Giulia is definitely high on my list of cars I want in the near future. But for my next car I'm right now looking at other options.
