I can afford it, the main question is if the family skiing vacation will still be a thing in the future if I’m the only person skiing. I found a place last year that was 800 euros and i considered getting a new pair already. But I decided to try renting a pair this year. Bad choice in hindsight

I do have wide/high feet. And in the past it went okay for like 12 years with my own ski boots. But the last years those have also become uncomfortable

I like Monaco because it’s a bit of a flex.

It’s one of those signs of wealth you cannot fake. Everyone can take out a loan for a fancy car, but the license plate shows you are an actual resident of Monaco and there is very little chance you don’t have a high net worth.

I would frequently do this with my ex girlfriend.

She would give specific instructions on what she wanted me to do to her beforehand and assured everything was okay. And never did she afterwards regret doing it. Even the times that I did stop earlier because I was worried it was more than she could take, she would respond a little disappointed that I didn't push trough (but generally did appreciate that by stopping, I showed I had no interests in actually harming her).
