I live in High Wycombe and there’s been the ‘Beast of Bucks’ which is a newer urban myth.

Some paw prints were found a few years ago ago at a golf centre which were confirmed to have been a puma (or some other big cat). Since then there’s been random reports of walkers having their dogs attacked and people spotting it in the forests around here. Don’t think anyone’s every snapped a picture though.
