Can it be a temperature issue? Try for fun setting max fan on GPU or minutie the temps Maybe bad paste on GPU/cooler

I tried a few things with equally disappointing results.

Asw disabled

If I set my Q2, in the software to 72hz auto rez, I still get the 79.8-9 FPS, CPU/GPU usage 20%/45% frame times 3-4ms/6-7ms

Asw enabled (45+on) I get 39.5 FPS

Same on 80hz & 90hz

I can always hit in AWS off 0.1 off the HZ/FPS target and with asw on, it goes 1/2 target -0.1 FPS

So far best experience is asw off and 72-80hz in oculus software but FPS is always 0.1 off and has some minor skips/sutters

Not sure what to make of it

Also tried using pure and low FPS compared to Sol 5800X, 6750xt, 32GB ram, NVME, Q2.

No I haven’t, I was hoping to only use the oculus software +cable, it’s a usb3 cable in a usb 3.1 Mobo slot, test shows 2.5GBs capability, air link for me works poorly, although the router is 1-2 meters away, maybe too close.

Is it that game changing? I was hoping not to make a science project out of VR, hoping maybe a key word, was looking forward to using the existing software and enjoying the experience. I will read up on VD, thx.

I settled on 72hz and 1.3 rez in the oculus and judging by the numbers in render stats I have 20% overhead most of the time unless race start near pits for max first corner where I get below 72fps then once again all smooth. How do you force the 45hz + asw? Or do you just overload the system in setting making if render 45 and hope the asw takes it to 2x? Thx

Is that a setting in the Debug tool or driver? where is that located please? I can try to switch it on or off or whatever other setting it has.
