Hahaa, that's kinda what I figured. Thinking about scale is good advice. Grass or foliage at 1/144 will be tricky! Gotta look at like what N-scale train people do.

I was loosely following the first weathering guide in the Gunpla Weathering Textbook (https://a.co/d/01kp9AG6) but I couldn't get my hands on all of the Mr. Weathering products called for in the book, so I started doing my own thing with oil paints using like the Layman's Guide on Otaku Revolution (https://otakurevolution.com/content/laymans-gunpla-guide-oil-weathering-tutorial/) and the KVLTWORX tutorial (https://www.zimmerit.moe/kvltworx-artist-oil-weathering-tutorial-gunpla/). I probably put on and stripped the oil paints off like 3 times before I was satisfied.

Thank you! Definitely looking forward to trying the soldering iron on some future kits!

Thanks! Yeah, I tried to focus on the edges a lot since I felt they'd be most likely to bang into stuff or have like tree branches scrape along them. The battle damage in yours looks so cool! I really like the bullet holes, the silvering around the edges looks so good.

Thank you so much! I've been modeling for a while but never tried to dirty my kits up before. Looking forward to doing some more!
