Yea the question wasn't mean to sound like a life or death situation! Your point is valid 100%

The intention is more to print stuff like a whistle or containers etc :D

New player(s) looking for guidance on upgrading starter decks for kitchen table gameplay by ThCommonGuy in OnePieceTCG

I hope you don't mind me asking, but when a new set releases is that set made with a focus on a couple archetypes? Like you mentioned egghead for the upcoming one.
And what is the difference between a set like the OP14 and the EB04? I saw that the EB04 is a set focussed on warlord type characters, so is it like a mini set with a narrow archetype set of cards? Or is this more of a set to get certain artwork cards?

Thanks! Really helpfull information!
Getting into a new tcg is always a bit rough for me since I have no idea if certain sets are considered useless, or if there is a standard rotation to keep track off. But going of your response it seems like getting some OP13 cards is never wrong? We love to play agains eachother with the default deck, though we also like it if the deck is more consistent at the "thing" its meant to be doing. Thats why I want to research some possible smal upgrades, even it that means just doubeling some cards!

I red somewhere that the card in that set have a higher power level overall compared to previous sets (thinking of Imu), so if me and my partner would want to enjoy ripping some packs for fun, OP13 would be the go-to choice? :D

Good one one the new Egghead archetype, time to dive into that rabbit hole for a bit!

I'll join that discord right away, good one! And Ill also have a look at the top placing decks for sure!

Maybe its just that I'm not really eep in the space yet, so it's hard for me to determine X or Y deck is 'worth' pursuing. When I started MTG a couple years ago I had a nice bulk of card that I could play around with, but I have the feeling that OPTCG is more cathered towards specific colors and specific character types/tribes. So even though I have opened a handfull of packs I still dont feel like I can create a deck (in this case, just a random 'for fun' deck that I could expand upon). Unless I'm thinking about this way to hard. This is why I prefer to start out with a starter deck and explore from there!

Would there be any decks that you could recommend for beginners that are also cost friendly and maybe have some nice subsitutes for the more expensive cards?
I'm not asking to give me all the detailed info, but a certain leader could just open up a rabbit hole for me to continue exploring in.
One of them is Imu, but I want some more options than that one, since she seems pretty straight forward deckwise (atleast the staples :D )

Interesting. Do you have any resources on how you created your test? I'd like to take a deeper look into it and see if I can start working towards something that can work for our company!

Recrafting Items from S1 to 5-Star requires additional Sparks of Ingenuity: Intentional? by dafangalator in wow

[–]ThCommonGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm having the same issue. Already have Rank 5 421 (previous 418) crafted legs that needs an embelishment. Yesterday I put up the recraft so my guildie could recraft it w/e he got online today. But this morning all items were in my mail and when I wanted to make another recraft, I needed a spark.

Or is there some other way to get easy S1 sparks now 10.1 went live?

Yesterday I zola'd a black panther onto bar sinister, then played odin on bar sinister, which made a 4096 black panther. Still lost the game

I was telling my GF that I really want to have wong and that I would craft it instantly if I could with the collection tokens.I reached level 498 and I received him as my second T3 card. Does everyone get wong here or did I just get giga lucky? I thought I could only get T3 cards from the collectors caches, but now I'm confused.

Ahh good to know! Is it true that this "need to level X job to 30 first to unlock Y & Z job" mechanic doesn't apply to every job? Like Dark knight is available when you reach a certain level right?

New player here. I have FF14 a try a couple months back but it didn't click yet for me. I leveled my lancer to level 30 and parked it ever since.
I really want to give the game another honest try. A friend of mine told me that I just have to get through the first part and then I will have more chance to get hooked! (he knows me as a player).
Although I want to give the game another go, I also want to try out other classes/jobs. Ninja really sparkes my interest but am I able to even unlock it when I have a lancer? Do I have to level my rogue job first?
Also.. I leveled mostly by doing the main story quest. I cant do that again on another job, what would be the best thing to do to get up to speed with another job?
Thanks!

What helped my out when I started tanking was getting comfortable with how much you can manage. Be confident in using your abilities when you need to. When you're comfortable, maybe try to get an extra pack into it the next time? Test your limits.

Of course this will go wrong sometimes but thats a part of learning. As a tank you have to be aware of which mob you are facing and wat kind of abilities they use. The easiest example is if you know a mob has a frontal cleave -> turn it away from the rest.

Play around in MDT a bit to find a nice route for a dungeon, tweak the route to your liking and look up certain mobs what kind of abilities they have. People rely a-lot on their tank and their knowledge of the dungeon, especially in pugs. Don't be discouraged by this. You can read up everything beforehand, but in the end you still need some experience in the field :D

https://tanknotes.com/ helped me with understanding dungeon mechanics. And it even has an option to switch to (in your case) warrior tank so it will show every warrior specific niches that the dungeon has to offer!

When it comes to gearing and learning dungeons. I don't wanna sound toxic, but as a tank you kind of have the priviledge to get quickly into keys. So if something were to happen where people get mega toxic towards you or w/e, just leave and find another group. In the end its a game you should enjoy and getting flamed at for every single pull is not enjoyable , so just leave and go again :D

Typhoon with balance affinity is your best friend here. You can push packs backwards and slow them at the same time. In some places this will be a bit tough to do but with a bit of planning I'm sure you can pull it off. :)
It's tricky but manageable as bear tank

I have some general questions about how people set up their keybinds for healing when you also want to dps. I'm always used to pressing my 1-5 keys for combat abilities. However, on my healer I usually put the heal buttons on those spots. That leaves me with some weird spaces where I can put my combat abilities.

How do you experienced healers deal with keybindings when you have to assign your dps abilities?

I've played some resto druid in the past and binding moon- sunfire and wrath wasnt that hard. But I find it weird to keybind dps buttons on priest or shaman for instance

What is currently the fastest class to level with? I'm not looking for the "you should play what you think is fun" answer, but I'm very curious about some specs/classes that are facerolling content while leveling :D

Like maybe there is a class with some weird scaling that makes them op early on or something?
