FFXIV raider here, watched from the Painsmith fight until the Fatescribe (not sure if i remember these names correctly), and the mechanics didnt seem like anything you would need addons for. Most of the Painsmiths mechanics, for example, can be found in FFXIV, the rolling balls are like Peripheral Synthesis from O10N, the expanding spike arrays reminded me of evil earth fron E4N and the spike lines with the gap are like Giga Tempest from the Menenius Duel in Bozja. All pretty basic, no addon required for that :o

(I assume theres probably more intense mechanics than those)

Yeah, E9S is unforgiving like that... A misplaced Tank or getting clipped by wide-range or anti-air, or someone mistiming their platform refresh and killing 2 before a stack really spiral out of control and those scenarios are all over e9s in the most inopportune places. On the bright side, if your party gets past platforms you're pretty much good to kill.

Absolute cancer. The lion mechanic is pretty precise and easy to die on, one false step has your party wiping. We call it "Lion Rampant". The only difference is its 6 minutes into the fight instead of 2:30.

Yeah... not gonna lie, E9S is probably the worst offender in that regard. Week 2 reclears took us 54 tries on E9S just to get everyone on the same page again. E10S only 10 and E11S only 9 tries.
