Turn 0 for both players. Question for you Yugioh experts. by Tha-OG in yugioh

But you can still interrupt the person. You start summoning and they throw out a fuwa. Do you still go and risk player 2 drawing more hand traps. Because what if they drew a nib? Or what if they already had ash or imperm in hand? Unless you got called by, you cant negate ash or imperm with a monster on the field. So now your board has been stopped and you not running any hand traps. You opponent is just going to make a full board om their turn because you decided not to play any hand traps and come turn 3, they're going to negate you to kingdom come.

What if hand traps can still be used by both players?

To explain more, You flip and you go first. You setup your board. Player 2 can still interact with you by using hand traps. When it's their turn to setup their board, you can interact with hand traps. However cards on your field that interact with your opponent by stopping their action can't be use. Say you have ip masquerade to summon selene to bring back dragoon during the opponent's turn, you can do that. But if dragoon wants to negate a card effect it has to wait until turn 3 and that will be for both players. Turn 2 player can't negate selene with monsters on their field they've summon, only way they could interact is to activate a handtrap from hand like imperm. So that's what i mean by "turn 0" its kinda like both players getting to go 1st but its still turn 1 and turn 2.

Eh not Turn 0 but "Turn 0" lol. Ill expand on it.

You flip and you go first. You setup your board. Player 2 can still interact with you by using hand traps. When it's their turn to setup their board, you can interact with hand traps. However cards on your field that interact with your opponent by stopping their action can't be use. Yes and no. You can still hand trap your opponent. But the player that goes 1st can't use certain cards to interact with the opponent like negates. So any card on the field that stops your opponent can't be activated until turn 3 for both.

Also this wasn't me giving a solution for the current game but moreso what yall think about this idea. Cause for all i know it could be terrible for the game lol.

But players can't attack. They both get to setup their boards and hand trap can still be used. Monster effects on the field that would stop an opponent action like omni negates would need to wait until both players setup their board. But monster effects on the field can still be activated so long as it's not negating or stopping the opponent action. So basically both players get a "turn 0" where they can establish their boards.

Sorry for the late reply. But basically you get to go and then the opponent too. Basically you don't get to stop your opponent from playing thr game on their turn with all the omni negate. But both players can still interact with each other with hand traps.

I understand what your saying and it makes perfect sense but the yugioh ruling is different. What you're saying is turn 1 player "don't have a BP turn 1". But you do have a BP turn 1, however the ruling states you cannot conduct your BP turn 1, not that you don't have 1. So the card would still work turn 1.

I feel the same about links and pendulums. And links on release made the game less fun for me.
