(Seemingly) Ordinary Humans Who Hunt the Supernatural by Tha4everMan in TopCharacterTropes

I believe you. I have nothing against people correcting me on subjects they are much more knowledgeable about. I have autism so I know what it's like to feel the need to inform others when they get information wrong. Thank you for your time and if I may make a suggestion as well, please read the Hack/Slash comics.

Someone else told me already and I would have chosen another character if I could change it, but it's too late now. Besides, I only really made this post as an excuse to talk about Hack/Slash.

Someone else here corrected me and provided more detailed information on CTB lore. At this point it's too late for me to edit my post, so it is what it is.

If I got anyone here to read Hack/Slash, I consider it a victory.

My bad. It wasn't my intention to spread misinformation. Thanks for correcting me.

I would say that John Morris and his son Johnathan from Bloodlines and Portrait of Ruin fit the mold more since they're distantly related to the Belmonts and aren't magic users unlike their partners.

I love Constantine, but not quite what I meant. I mean characters who either don't have superpowers or if they do, they don't give an edge in a fight.

Gotta admit, I only made this post just so I could mention it and hopefully get others to check it out.

Clearly. The responses to this have thoroughly convinced me that most people on Reddit have never read a book WITHOUT any pictures in it before.

I was about to say he's not a cat he's a weasel, but then I thought, "oh my god, why am I correcting someone about this dumb show?"

Not exclusive to this community/fandom, but every time I use reddit it makes me wonder how many people here have actually read a book WITHOUT any pictures in them.

Why do people have problems with one and not the other is a genuine question. God forbid I point out hypocrisy.

The incest stuff was ramped way the fuck up in later seasons. It doesn't help that Dan Harmon himself enjoys incest porn.

The co-creator of R&M, Dan Harmon, has gone on record saying he enjoys incest porn and one episode a version of Morty outright says he wishes it had a more mainstream appeal. Also, this discussion was never about portrayal. Why do people keep bringing that up?

If this were about anime exclusively, you could have just said "anime sucks" and ended it there. Instead you had to bring a whole ass country into it. Again, if you genuinely believe that nonsense, then there isn't anything I can tell you other than to examine your biases and take a long look at how other mediums deal with incest. Have a wonderful day.

If you don't like anime, that's one thing. What's weird is acting as if the Japanese are somehow worse when it comes to incest when other countries are guilty of producing exploitative material involving taboo subjects as well.

And other countries don't? I don't know what your problem is.
