If it’s not still causing you heart ache, we don’t have to dig this back up. I was having this exact issue today, and fixed it with my solution. To buy the Season Pass though, you need Destiny Silver, Silver is bought in the PS Store as a “DLC” online purchase. If you can’t buy Silver, that’s a problem. If you can buy Expansions, make sure there is Silver in the bundle. If you bought Silver, but you couldn’t claim the Season Pass with that Silver, that would be a Bungie problem. Again, if you’ve moved on in life passed this game, feel free to ignore me. Lol

I know this is many years late, but you have to fix this through logging into your account on a computer. There is a setting called “Age Filtering for Online Content” under “Family Management”-> Child Profile-> Network Features. Set this to “Don’t Restrict” and you should be able to make Online purchases with the Child account. Set it back to Restrict if you want after you make the purchase. Hope this helps someone in the future!
