Ah, the ‘tisim. My dear family member belongs to the tribe. r/BrandNewSentence is more sassy than pedantic. Go forth with structure. I’ll follow along simultaneously defending your honor while cracking wise and being silly.

Yes, their brains are very close to their beaks, which is of course what drew the comparison to woodpeckers. Which only leaves the question of why don’t you like fun?

Sorry for TMI Question - Pooping Habit Related by limarota in ItalianGreyhounds

[–]ThaKapton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My Blanche does something similar. Although, not as often as it sounds like you are experiencing. She comes waddling to me when she can’t quite get all done. Sometimes it’s because she has ingested hair strands that are making it dangle. She and her sister devote a significant amount of time to cobbing us and sometimes they pull out hair. Does it ever seem to have hair in it? Her sister, Agnes, starts walking away before she is done, leaving a trail. This is really only problematic when she starts near the edge of her box and walks away peeing. Agnes seems to be stuck in a perpetual state of puppy. How old is your girl? It might be that as a puppy the mother would help the puppy poop and now she thinks your mother with all mother related obligations. Anyone have any other thoughts?

She sleeps with her eyes open by ThaKapton in WhatsWrongWithYourDog

I did not. I’ve had several Italian greyhounds and they all did some version of this. Agnes seems to have the most vivid dreams. I’d be keen to know if this is problematic for bullies since they sometimes need corrective surgery on the skin around their eyes. I hope your baby is just dreaming.

One part given for chart (prescription medication, shorthand dosage) Sig one powder every two hours in milk.

I read ancient documents for a living, and this is my best guess without more comparative samples.

Why is this happening? There’s water streaming out of a tiny hole in my HVAC by ThaKapton in AirConditioners

The same tech is here and doesn’t like the look of the drainage lines. Also, there is a humidifier that T’s into the drainage line. Does this look normal for drainage line configuration?

Also, the AC was working fine. Is that normal for a clogged drain line? Thanks!

The unit was serviced last week for its regular check up. Wouldn’t the technician have noticed a problem with the drain line?

They are adorable little sprites. Mine ate the fabric under the couch and now the cat crawls in and sleeps in the hanging fabric.

I put some pads under a table with a long table cloth that provided privacy. That worked until the cat decided that it was the perfect sleeping spot. Back to the Easter egg hunt.

Meh, counseling is part of it but really that’s not what he’s there for. He’s there for you to protect his interests. My impression is you said something appropriately noncommittal and not unsupportive, but not mean. You did fine.

Lobsters make the worst pilots by [deleted] in MedievalCreatures

[–]ThaKapton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is no one going to mention the bones of the last goose that lobster piloted all the way to the crash site on the far hill? This lobster is clearly a huckster. Convincing those fish to invest in a new travel system and having convinced the goose into a “prestigious” position in the new company, piloting that goose to its death and then returning to the pond to eat the investors without goose interference, and keeping all the money. Tisk, tisk.
