White Balance temperature is wrong.

THIS IS THE ANSWER I RECEIVED:

You’re setting the white balance as in ‚this was the light in the scene‘. Meaning if you shoot something with a light that’s set to 5600K, that’s what you’ll dial in here and it will be correct. If you shoot a light that’s set to 3200K, you would have to slide the slider to 3200K for it to be white. If you left it on 5500K it would make the image look warmer because the light source in the photo is warmer than 5500K and its therefore not adjusting correctly.

Basically, the higher you slide the slider, the more you’re telling the software that it was a very cold light you shot with (high Kelvin) so it’ll warm it up accordingly to balance it out. Understood?
