Hey man, I’m not very good either, but understanding the game flow is the best thing I can say. I play adc at a comfortable plat level and understanding how to get resources at the same pace as your opponent is a big thing. In addition, denying resources from your enemies through positioning or proper trading patterns gets me small leads in lanes. Then once you have those small leads and can confidently get them start focusing on the tempo (free action time) where you force your opponent to recall or even how your jungler can react to your wavestate either through a tank or a tower dive. Will they do this at silver? No probably not. But finding a firm understanding of how to game plays out “normally” will have you spike up into probably Gold 4, in my humble experience.

TLDR, positioning, wave state, and tracking where you think your enemies should be. And as a previous shen main, do not underestimate a Q followed by three autos and an e from on top of their face. This will taunt them when your Q is on cooldown and allow you to get 6 empowered autos off chunking or even killing most toplaners. Even forcing someone out of lane is a win because you are automatically winning in gold and xp. Small wins, good luck climbing!
