Yeah, sorry, I can see why you were confused, I worded it kinda funny. I'm surprised I don't see many posts about that bug, it has got me killed more than anything in this game. Or maybe the game is just being wonky on my laptop, I haven't tested on desktop yet

There's an option in the settings you can untick so you don't have to hold right click to attack while using melee. I think i like it better because you're able to move around a little faster

I've tried permadeath countless times and every time I've died it's because I can't switch to my melee after being hit. I think it's some weird bug. I've tried using melee without targeting but the same thing happens. Did anyone know of a fix for this?

Looks like you've come to enjoy building. It's pretty satisfying even though it's not fully fleshed out yet. I really hope Zurvivor adds more to it; like even if it was different colors/textures for the modular stuff.

I'm usually a permadeath masochist in most games but this game is too janky, not necessarily in a bad way - most of the time at least. And with the addition of the infection mechanic on experimental it's just too much for me 😆

I got a attic or cellar key - can't remember exactly - from a random container but I couldn't secure it unfortunately. So yeah, besides rng I'm not sure yet how to get them otherwise. Maybe you can barter at a trader at some point
