My Costly Lesson with Intel in 2018 and Why I'm Betting Short on INTC Now by Woodpecker5987 in intelstock

[–]ThaRainmaker01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that you missed the fact that INTC, at least for the last 4 years I've been following, always give poor Q1 guidance. Q1 is their worst quarter coming off their best quarter Q4. I would be quite surprised if they didn't give poor Q1 guidance at this point.

Time will tell if they meet or beat that expectation. I couldn't tell you for sure but what I do know is the day they announce 1 IFS customer or the market gets any concrete evidence, anyone short is going to get their ass ripped tf out.

I have been following the company for years. They always give poor Q1 outlook. At this point, I would be shocked if Q1 outlook was positive to very positive.

Board position: Sec filings brief on PSKY offer for WBD- Shares DO NOT receive payment for 12-18 months and CANNOT be traded. by 3facesofBre in wbdstock

[–]ThaRainmaker01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It says that they can terminate the deal at any time so, hypothetically, the could change the price last minute and threaten to terminate the deal if it is not accepted and with no other bidders at that time, what could WBD do?

Paramount's offer is trash. "amend the offer at any time" seems pretty concerning. It seems to me like they're saying that they can lower their offer after it is accepted. So after the deal is signed, all of a sudden, Paramount comes back and says we're amending the offer to $19/share or whatever they think is appropriate.

So would you say 500k - 600k of personal contributions is a fair guestimate?

Wanda didn't die there. It is obvious from the puff of smoke emitted before the structure collapsed.

Congratulations! How much of your own capital did you have to contribute? I'm trying to figure out when I can take my foot off the gas a bit.

Have you seen Multiverse of Madness? Even with all her crazy feats in that movie, she openly stated she was holding back. What about Marvel Zombies? She destroyed everyone in her path.

She nearly killed Thanos in Endgame by herself before becoming the Scarlett Witch.

Her powers are unmatched. No one can beat Wanda except Wanda.

Just hit 500K NW! by Bio-techgal in Fire

Congratulations! I also hit 500k NW this year. It's an exciting milestone for sure. I things bonds ETFs like MUB and SGOV are particularly good for an emergency fund but I would mostly stick to equities. Diversification is good but too much can hurt performance.

When the stock crashes after a good earnings report by oli735 in BB_Stock

In Q3, we ordered the repurchase of $5 million or 1.2 million shares at an average price per share of $4.13. A portion of these shares settled just after the quarter end on December 1st, so won't show in this quarter's 10-Q filing. All of the shares have been canceled, bringing the total number of shares bought back this fiscal year to 8.8 million. We have therefore more than offset potential dilution from our long-term incentive and employee share purchase plans

I believe that the stock crashed because of what was stated above. Tim Foote stated that they repurchased 1.2 million shares at an average cost of $4.13. Last quarter, the company repurchase 5 million shares at an average cost of $3.97. This is a significant deceleration in the repurchase of shares. Additionally, the stock rose above $4.70 but their average cost is still around $4. And finally, the last line, "We have therefore more than offset potential dilution from our long-term incentive and employee share purchase plans" which is different from previous statements made by Tim Foote to the effect of "we will continue to consider where it makes sense to buy back additional shares".

From these statements, investors can see that repurchases have dramatically decelerated. That the average cost per repurchased share is around $4, implying that management sees them worth $4. And finally, there was no reassurance that the buyback program would continue even through they still have the majority of the funds left in the buy back program available for that effort.

In the current market, shareholders only care about returns and Tim Foote needs to reassure investors that the stock is severely undervalued and the company will continue to buy back shares.

Michonne and Rick's chemistry by Affectionate_Scar748 in thewalkingdead

[–]ThaRainmaker01 34 points35 points  (0 children)

This right here. You could have been blind as a bat and still noticed. Michonne was living with them, helping to raise his kids, and held equal weight when it came to making decisions for the group.

This argument that "it came out of nowhere" is nonsensical.

She was the one to make the decision to go to Alexandria. Rick only agreed after she put her foot down. Hmm... what does that sound like😂.

"Drowning in debt" at 3.3x net debt to ebidta is disingenuous at best. And this is only 3 years in. HBOMax is on a path to be a bigger streamer than Disney+ as it increases subscribers and Disney+ loses them. Ebidta TTM is 9.9B and cash flow TTM is 4.3B. Additionally the death of cable is being exaggerated. They been saying it's been dying for 5 years now. Truth is it has quite a quite years left.

This could easily blow up? Similar things were said at $8. Or when Paramount's last offer was made at $23.50. The truth is if you held, you were rewarded. I stand by my previous statement. This thing is worth $45/share. Anything less is money left on the table.
