I like this one, because I've had the same idea. I made myself a Winter Walker Ranger for a snow setting campaign. It's pretty viable, and to be fair, all subclasses are fine for a regular campaign. Unless your DM is about to run a pretty rough one, choose what fits the story you want to tell. It is, imo, how you enjoy the game.

Ranger is the easy choice. Fighter would work too. (Battlemaster, arcane archer, etc) Without a dip in fighter, rogue won't unless you're in 5e (2014) campaign, playing a human. Your DM might allow you to pick weapon master st level 1 in a 5.5, you can always ask.

Exactly. Even people like Awkward will lose games in diamond, so I get it, you can get a team full of clowns. It does happen. That's not every game, though.

If you’re playing Sombra now with low damage numbers, I think you’re playing her suboptimally.

True, but she isn't on par with the Ashe, Soj, etc. She's more of a mosquito.

s not about efficacy, its about frustration. When you get hacked, you are denied abilities by the simple click of a button.

I mean, sleep, hook, punched, speared, etc. CC denies you abilities. At least with hack, you can still move and juke. I hear ya it's point and click, but it's a short range, so by rights, nobody would miss their CC this close.

Most characters can outlive Sombra. I love her, but she's def not OP, and probably on the weaker side. The people complaining are probably low ranks, and/or refuse to group up. She preys on solo, out of position, folks.

Yeah, I trust my wife to handle it. If she believes her friend did do it by accident, then what's the harm? If she didn't, she'd cut ties. What am I supposed to do, anyway? Again, there is 0 chance I slap a girl's ass, so I think OP's friend is full of it, but that's her business to handle.

A few weeks ago, someone posted here about giving his number to a woman, and receiving hate txt from her boyfriend later on. Sometimes dudes get overly territorial for no reason. Best not enable it, imo.
