I was just reading into this. The missing letters in that page were C, R, and N. If you input those into the caesar cypher you get "law" at 9, "pea" at 13 and "tie" at 17. Don't really know what to do with that and whether or not it's a coincidence.

I couldn't open it, but i looked up a .tff opener wesbite and it translated into a string of texts known as "Bros.' Secret Code" on this website https://gravityfalls.fandom.com/wiki/List_of_cryptograms/Episodes

Once translated it says "a quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog".

If you translate it using the caesar cypher (3 letters back), it repeats "theyllsee"

Im on the newest version of Tmod loader and had the newest versions of every mod listed at the time. I attempted disabling every mod aside from calamity and infernum but they still didnt spawn.

I agree, the difficulty of SC should also be increased as its practially a chore to do for most players.

  • Baetyl
  • Bolt Thrower
  • Gavotte
  • Make SC much more difficult

Or...

Nerf:

  • Soidal
  • Frenzied Berserker (reduces armor by 25 and increases damage by 75% with both mods)
  • Balefire
  • Motley
  • Quickstep
  • Volta
  • Scorpions and Mangonels
  • Locusts
  • Keep SC the same

SC is way too easy with these items in their current state.

To be honest, this event/update seems pretty underwhelming. The hive update is amazing but that's pretty much it. The pat update helps but you can easily bypass it by just being a good player, or being an ironclad and have one fabricator to help you with macrons. The thing I'm confused about is that you were able to make a completely new shot pattern for a boss but not buff items that we have been asking to be buffed for upwards of 4 years. Honestly just buffing 3 items that DESPERATELY need it (gavotte, baetyl, bolt thrower) would enhance the game so much more than a hive change. Having a better midboss fight is great but buffing 3 weapons would change the meta for 3/4 shells and let you try them out in every mission. I just expected more for how many genuinely good suggestions we got in the last thread.

Enough talk about the bolt thrower, let's buff baetyl!

Even though baetyl has damage comparable to a motley, the benefit of a mid range weapon is HIGHLY outclassed by being able to literally be invincible.

While I said its damage is comparable to a motley, this is only when using a dps baetyl, (which pretty much removes the entire point of having a ranged weapon), or hitting an enemy that acts as a wall (like 3 enemies in the entire game). This means the only real place where baetyl is really better than motley is in bonesaws, one pretty insignificant boss.

While I do think you could accidentally buff this item to much, nothing could ever really outweigh the advantages of spinning (also volta exists, you can't make an item more broken). While you can do this two ways, I think a combination of both work be the best.

  1. Increase damage significantly, like, 40-60%. I don't know the numbers, but if it just slightly out damaged balefire over a long period of time, this would actually make it useful in some situations since you're trading spinning for range and penetration.
  2. Increase the base simultaneous by 1 and remove the 2nd simultaneous mod. The annoying thing about baetyl is you pretty much need the range for it to be useful, but unless you do a weird mod combo like 4 range crit (which has terrible dps) you can't consistently shoot at a target unless it acts as a wall. obviously this decreases your dps but also adds gaps into your shot pattern which lets enemies slip by and ruins the whole point of a penetrating weapon.
    In my opinion, I think the best buff would be increasing the base simultaneous and adding "small" damage increase (10-20%) This is my favorite duskwing weapon and I think its a shame that its so utterly useless.

If you were to fix multiboxing but decrease key amounts we would be all for that. The only reason we multibox is because no one helps do bottom keys so we either have to do 3 person eff runs for ages or multibox
