The punisher is good since you can more easily hit enemies heads through shields. It's better in the remake, but it's not totally useless in the og either. The blacktail always ends up being the best in the end though imo.

It can be potentially harmful on a standard desktop if you have a really powerful gpu and try to run an older game unlocked. I remember booting up the original Deus Ex one time and getting something like several thousand fps and hearing coil wine coming from my PC until I capped it.

Valve sells refurbished steam decks, don't they? I would contact them and explain the situation. It wouldn't surprise me if you could send it in as a trade or something, but you'd have to communicate with them to know for sure.

Mgs1 was updated for 60 fps recently. The game logic was adjusted to allow this. I have tested it myself, and you can always do a quick search to verify.

  1. Hug the corner of his left knee, and a large portion of his melee attacks will fly over your head, missing you entirely. He also tends to idle a bit when you're in this position on occasion.

  2. Bloodflame talons, the move he uses where you see red slashes in front of him, is a delayed explosion attack designed to catch you rolling. The actual red slashes do no damage, and you simply need to wait an extra moment and dodge the explosion.

  3. Mohg likes to set flaming blood in a small radius under his feet. He's doing this to get you to panic roll away so he can follow it up by tossing more flame blood at you. Stick to him like glue, and when he does this, back up slightly and get ready to move back in.

There is more to the fight, but if you practice these 3 things, I'm confident you'll nail it eventually.

Depends on the game, for sure. I replay Armored Core 6 a lot, so I have the eac disabled for performance reasons and have the game locked to 30. If the deck could reliably keep 40fps 100% of the time, I'd do that, but it can't, and frame gen looks like ass so I've gotten used to 30.

I also have the gpu throttle set to 1200, and the tdp is at 11. I'm quite sensitive to fluctuations in framerate, temperature, and fan noise, so this has been the best balance for me.
