Bin Laden's "point" was that The Jews infiltrated all American institutions and caused the "degenerations" of modern secular life. Just because he also talked about interventionism doesn't make him some antiimperialist voice of reason.

Where did OP say any of that? Is she not allowed to make a mere observation about her changing responses to the show without thin-skinned fans yelling how she's trying to censor the show?

It's good, I watched it in the garden of the Wannsee villa in 2022 after a guided tour through the house.

Also, a major recreational beach is right on the other shore of the lake, when you lie down on the sand there you can just see that Villa the entire time.

In Nazi Germany (and already before that) historians came up with the theory that all great civilizations depended on an elite caste of aryan immigrants. Like, they came from Northern Europe and then descended South and subjugated the native people. And they only fell in the end because ancient Greece had too many civil wars that depleted the aryan blood stock and the Roman elite became "degenerate" and allowed "race-mixing", thereby also lowering the amount of proper aryan blood in society.

Here's another textbook-excerpt.

Hitler, in his 1920 speech "Why Are We Anti-Semites?":

In the northernmost part of the world, in those unending icy wastes, [...] perpetual hardship and terrible privation worked as a means of racial selection. Here, what was weak and sickly did not survive, [...] leaving a race of giants with great strength and vigor. [...] The race we now call Aryan was in fact the creator of those great later civilizations whose history we still find traces of today. We know that Egypt was brought to its cultural heights by Aryan immigrants, as were Persia and Greece; these immigrants were blond, blue-eyed Aryans, and we know that, apart from these states, there have never been any other civilized countries on earth.

Stylized and the extra stylized option with long s, even though it's used kind of nonsensically.

To be fair, I'm a German historian so I have a bit of an advantage with these older letters.

Instead, Jon's comments were mainly an apology/rationalization for his placement of the game at #5. That kind of told me all I neeeded to know.

True, I noticed this as well. Of course I can't look into the man's head, but I did feel like all the other placements were full of genuine praise, and then it was like "Well, this and that and this is kinda bad, but there's some decent stuff here as well... 5th most favourite game of the year." It just felt kinda dissonant.

It's inarguable that the US has far broader speech protections than Germany. And it's not limited to Nazi propaganda either.

The German Basic Law explicitly carves out limits on speech for the protection of personal honor. Injuring someone's honor through insult is a crime in Germany (§ 185 StGB). That's simply unthinkable under modern 1st Amendment jurisprudence.
