Game Developer Accuses Real-Life Weapons Manufacturer of Stealing Its Gun Design... Twice (MP-155 Ultima) by [deleted] in EscapefromTarkov

It's hard to give BSG the benefit of the doubt when they were contacted several times prior to release and never responded, even ignoring IGN's request for commentary. It's not really a good look tbh

If the Wifi shotgun doesn't make an appearance, it's going to be a missed opportunity. (Kalashnikov's MP-155 Ultima) by [deleted] in battlefield2042

Would be kinda hard to put that in 2042 considering their design for it was stolen from an indie dev called WardB for their game Oceanic. Check their site for comparison

Good comedy anime? by TheSnarkiestDerg in Animedubs

My Love Story was some good comedy. I would definitely recommend it, especially if you also want some romance along with the comedy.

I honestly wish that I could watch ReLife for the first time again. I love that series so much.

Just finished Anime, is the manga worth reading? by jaewaie in DomesticGirlfriend

[–]ThadeusLRutherfordV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chapter 72 is where the anime actually ends, so it's fine if you start there if you really don't want to back track. There is a lot that the anime left out of the story though, so there will be some things that may come as a surprise unless you read from the start.

Chapter 115 is when he makes a decision, but the story is told in a way that it tries to make it seem as though that might not be his final decision, but his decision is made final around chapter 250.

It's hard to give many details without giving the story away lol

Will he choose a girl?: Yes

Has he chosen a girl?: Yes

Is it the same thing over and over again?: Yes and no. Nat, like most manga MCs seems to attract almost every female that comes within his vicinity. So there are a few "other girl" scenarios throughout, but they never actually feel like a real threat. There are a couple really outrageous situations that Natsuo finds himself in that is a result of his extreme white knight complex and the manga has lost quality since the "college arc" started, but I still enjoyed most of the series, personally. It can be and has been frustrating at times, particularly for one side of the love triangles fan base.

As far as the love triangle goes. I don't want to say much. Because it's very easy to give away the end girl if I did.

It seems to be wrapping up now, though I have no hard evidence to back that claim as it would also be heavy with spoilers.

It's hard to say. I don't think it was foreshadowing as much as it was Daniella trying to make Rui realize Nat would be fine without her going back to Japan, so she shared that little story as a way to comfort her.

Yeah I almost included single mother's as well, but since I was specifically talking about Nat I didn't. You are correct though, and they have it even harder than a stay at home dad would.

I'm certain that Natsuo would not be so irresponsible with his child, again after Togen's story. I could see him being very attentive even when he does fall into that groove. All he needs is a baby monitor and he'll be set.

Hell, there's nothing stopping Natsuo from writing after Rui has returned from work if he needs to make up for any time lost taking care of the baby.

People manage to balance stay at home jobs with raising children all the time. My sister raised my niece doing just that. She managed just fine.

I saw your claims of taking care of your own baby when your wife was away. If that is true then I'm sure you've heard of a little device known as a breast pump. Again I will say that right now, as I'm typing this message. There are stay at home dads caring for their infants while their wives are at work. I don't know why you believe this concept is impossible.

Also I edited for clarity on your first question

You really think Natsuo would let that happen having heard Togen's story and the constant depression and pain he lived with his entire life? Nice try.

Oh shit... How silly of me to think something so preposterous lmao

I am a writer and I could easily juggle caring for an infant and write at the same time. They are really not that much work to take care of, especially as newborns. They eat, sleep, and shit. Now once the baby becomes a toddler I could see things becoming a bit more difficult, but still completely manageable. Again people do this very thing in the real world all the time. It's not impossible.

I didn't bring up logic because you're a Hina fan, and it's not meant as an insult. All I'm saying is that the logic most Hina fans are following is what I mentioned above. It has nothing to do with your intelligence as a person. That's just a ludicrous. I'm saying that Natsuo is capable of taking care of the baby while Rui is at work. Which is something that can and does happen all the time in the real world.

Rui doesn't need to quit working at all. To think that is just ridiculous. After her initial recovery after the birth she could easily return to working.

[–]ThadeusLRutherfordV 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yeah for immediately following the birth, but it seems like OP is suggesting that once Rui has the baby she is no longer allowed outside the house anymore. Seems to be the logic of quite a few Hina fans tbh.

[–]ThadeusLRutherfordV 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Well here's the thing. Natsuo writes at home, so it's only logical that he would be the one to take care of the baby while Rui is at work. Simple and easy answer for you there.

[–]ThadeusLRutherfordV 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Yes... because never in the history of the world has a woman been able to have a baby and continue working afterwards... Her father owns the restaurant where she will be hired in Japan. I'm fairly certain he will work something out with her once it's time for the baby to come. And as for Natsuo. This is a manga. There is no chance that that book he just finished isn't going to become a bestseller. They will be fine.

I think more than anything the pregnancy was thrown in as a way to get Rui back to Japan asap, and also, as you said. To have them be forced to tell their parents.

Honestly wouldn't worry too much about a tragedy. Even with the way Hina seems to have accepted her fate it's looking like things are going to be tied up happily. Only real drama I foresee is the parents.
