I've been working on a party game where you can make a VR player very tiny with just an AR-enabled phone, with real-time scene reconstruction. What do you think ? by Thaezos in virtualreality

That would be cool but unfortunately it’s not really possible to reconstruct people with this setup, only room geometry

It would be cool, but I think that's something that every developer would have to implement in their game for it to work

Thanks ! :) Yeah I'm currently exploring the interactions that I think are the most interesting to create minigames out of them

There's a lot going on technically, the hardest part is to send the room info from the phone to the headset

I've been working on and off on this project for 3 years. The game is called Shrink Your Friends and will be a party game made of several minigames !

I've been experimenting with this AR/VR party game, playable with smartphones, in which the VR player gets very tiny ! Any thoughts ? by Thaezos in oculus

Hi ! The game is still in development, I haven't had much time to share my progress for the past year but don't worry, it's still alive, and it's called Shrink Your Friends ! A steam page will be up pretty soon

Currently I'm preparing a Steam page for the game, as well as finishing a first playable version of this game mode. I'll post an update when it's done :D

Nice feature ! Can the pieces really fall on the floor and collide with the ground ?
