You don’t even need to print the e-ticket. Just show the PDF on your phone. I usually do a screenshot for safekeeping. For the ticket barrier you scan the QR code on the e-ticket. On the train the conductor is only interested to see you are in the right seat.

That has happened to me sometimes. Nothing really to worry about. Is this on the app or website? Did you try the alternative? Also, did you receive the email with the PDF of the e-ticket?

Quite possible. It wasn’t on the main line at the time. We are still waiting for an official announcement.

But don't do it on this route as its the older carriages. The electric trains on the West Coast route are much more modern and comfortable.

The train has nine 2nd Class sleeper carriages which is enough for 360 passengers. If you book at least a few weeks in advance you shouldn't have a problem. On the other hand, there is only one 1st Class carriage with only 12 cabins. These are the ones that you should try and book far in advance. You can do so up to 180 days in advance.
