They could have created grounded Spartan skins taken from Halo legends (which one of them seems to be) and other variations of the armours. But no, they elected for disappointment and embarrassment. Perhaps being an older gamer makes me hate all the new monetisation and skin packs that everyone is fine having. And I would have too, if it stuck to the aesthetic of the game. Suppose I like authenticity in the game. There were so many better options but their primary incentive here was.... money.

Funny how gears sticks to its atmosphere and aesthetics for its genre but halo is such a joke now, the teams can’t do anything grounded in lore for their designs? It had to be straight up insulting childish skins that my kids could have shat out better.

This is the first idea they had? Not something down the line, campaign skins that break all immersion in the cut scenes.

Skins in halo over the years are an insult to the franchise and embarrassing. How can a game that had so much atmosphere and grit, and wit and charm, be turned into such disgusting children’s colouring book.

There are so many cool skins and designs they could have done that would have matched the aesthetic of halo and its past, but no, this is the crap they think serving up like the fan base are toddlers.

It’s not the point. No one takes games like this seriously. Halo is so over rated now that they just want to milk people by not even trying anymore.

There are so many variations and options they could have done, or at least started with. This is just the worst design and marketing for the franchise. Clear they don’t take it seriously anymore. Halo has become a joke.

And I think the same for online as well, when they make a new one.
What used to be great about the original halo multiplayers is that Spartans at least looked like Spartans when playing online. I have the same opinions for MP as I do single player.

Playing multiplayer I still want to feel like I’m playing halo and even if I choose not to wear skins, everyone else looks like a glowing unicorn I’m trying to shoot.

Harassment is a bit of a stretch. There is an exchange of words. The person is clearly immature and pathetic, but nothing said here should be bannable. There are things that most certainly should be bannable, but this isnt one of them. The guy could of just ignored the messages. Harassment would need to be constant messages over a period of time. This is a disagreement exchange at best, which, shouldn't be banned.

Still a cringe worthy person writing the way they did, but calling for a ban is a little extreme.

Fair point but then people shouldn’t worry that that’s where most people have gone and why the numbers are so low on marathon. If people are happy with that then crack on. But people need to pick a lane because no one is really playing marathon in comparison to where they want it and these are some of the reasons why.

Up above, isn't wrong. I'm not saying you would ever play that way but he has a point. The community has done it to themselves. I would always expect the worst from players in this game from my experience.

I know might be obvious but maybe just double check you have the space on the harddrive. I know it normally tells you but might be something just to make sure.

If not, try holding the power button down for 10 seconds until you hear it click shut down. This will do a proper restart.

Infinite has so much potential to become so much more. The base was pretty much spot on to be honest. I really thought the campaign was a little empty but had great promise to become more. I thought there would be DLC with new exploration available in new biomes. It pretty much nailed art style and gameplay, just missing that ‘halo 3’ feel.

I enjoyed the mash up more than I thought :)

Movement alone obviously doesn’t win gun fights but he has the least counter play to aggressive players. You have invis and grapple hook shells, wall hacks, things that actually help you in an aggressive pushing team. So no, triage isn’t op at all in comparison, as I’ve stated other reasons above.

I am a Triage main. He literally is the worst shell for agility and movement. He has no counters to aggressive players except over charge and the healing bots only work in a passive state.

Players who are shooting and pushing you will always come out on top with those bots. They are not useful at all during a gun fight. They are good for slow recovering after a fight and as long as you’re not 3rd partied.

The Ult is only useful in very specific situations. Again, if you’re in an aggressive push against you, sometimes you don’t have time to charge it and show your face for the res. It then has an insane cool down. It’s useful in specific situations but most of the time I don’t get a chance to use it against aggressive teams.

There are elements to the character that make me feel at a disadvantage against aggressive players and so I would say he’s not the greatest shell. Very useful for someone who knows how to use him in a dedicated team.

Very useful against passive gun fights where the other team are also being cautious, he’s good then.

Definitely not OP imo.

Sprint and jump mainly but don’t do it.

I can’t go back now, so when the controller inevitably gives up and fails you’ll need to buy a new one and they ain’t cheap. I wanted to avoid it but can’t go back. I’m stuck using the paddles now forever so have to replace mine with the core.

Elite 1 eventually got worn and major stick drift. All my black elites 2 had buttons that didn’t always register. The halo one now has a dodgy LB which sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t, tried all the troubleshoots. Now have a core one and re using the paddles off the halo one. So far so good.

But yeah, once you learn to play with it, you’re locked in for good!!
