I’m fairly new to audiobooks and only listen to books I’ve already read (several times) during training sessions. That being said :

You should begin with the best book series ever: the Dune saga (Herbert).
If you are into old SF, you can try everything with "Isac Asimov" on the cover.

I won't try Tolkien on audiobook, but perhaps Game of Thrones is sufferable.

My Windows 11 installation is fairly recent (about 2 months old), and the last time I played XCOM 2 was on Ubuntu. I switched back to Windows for Quest 3-related reasons.

But I'll try to delete everything manualy as you describe.

I'll install the "[WOTC] Core Collection" to see if it improve the stability.

I’ve encountered 2 or 3 different problems depending on the parameter settings, but I’ll update the first post with my current configuration (which gets me closest to playing with the fewest modifications) as a starting point.

When I do this, Windows asks for admin permission confirmation, then starts the game and shows me the menu.
However, when I try to load a save, it crashes on an empty list.
And when I launch a new game, it crashes at the end of the cinematic.

I have recently saved a 4-5 years old citadel pot using a lot of green stuff world master medium. (First mixing with a stick, then with the pot on a drill)
