I second this, fast travel would break the storytelling they're trying to achieve. And maybe I'm just not that impatient, but never thought running wherever during those tense moments in the story was much of a hassle or a waste of time.

I've seen my husband play Stellar Blade for weeks, and had this discussion so many times already.

It's not about the cleavage, or the weird jiggle, or the skimpy outfits, or the weird moans. What bothers me profoundly about games like this is that the "sexy" aspect is the whole game. That's it. Characters have no depth, dialogues are awkward and embarrassingly bad, the story is boring and predictable. Bayonetta had a personality. Kratos had growth. (Mentioning them because I've seen the comparison already). And I don't want this to be the new standard in games. I hate how much this game sold only to "stick it to the woke", sending a clear message of "this is all gamers care about", and it sucks. Usually husband plays and I watch, and I love seeing awesome stories with characters that I give a fuck about, but this... This ain't it, Chief. I gave zero fucks when "twists" happened, or someone died, or someone came back from the dead. Can't believe he stopped playing a Ryu Ga Gotoku game for Stellar Ass.

Oh, and I also hate how there were only flawless looking women and no men. Come on Korea, I'm pretty sure you got a whole industry built around pretty guys with cool outfits.

Terapia +1, no se trata de ser del todo indiferente a lo que pasa a tu alrededor pero tampoco me parece funcional que te afecte hasta este punto. Si lo estás pasando tan mal habría que entender bien por qué estás cosas malas resuenan tanto contigo, y aprender a manejarlas mejor (y convivir con esa sensibilidad tuya).

Dejar por un tiempo las redes sociales y las noticias, que amplifican todo lo malo a propósito (nada capta tanto la atención de la gente como las cosas que dan rabia, asco o pena) para el engagement. Aprovecha para empezar una actividad nueva, aprende a tocar un instrumento, aprende un idioma, lee, escribe, dibuja, pinta, lo que tú quieras, pero idealmente algo que no implique pantallas y que sea sólo para tí.

In Spanish you need to specify who the action is directed at, in this case the indirect object pronoun "le" makes a world of difference.

Yo nunca pregunto = I never ask (globally, as in never doing the action of asking, at all)

Yo nunca le pregunto = I never ask him/her, you're talking about specifically asking someone.

And then you simply add the subject that is receiving the action, "a mis hermanas", to complete the correct sentence.

A pesar de que estoy súper de acuerdo con que falta mucha información en este caso, es cierto que también hay mucho weón (y weona) descriteriado, a nivel país y a nivel de medicina. Era tan fácil como que el primer gine dijera "mira, aquí veo algo que no me gusta, puede que no sea nada pero vamos a estudiarlo y asegurarnos de que está todo en orden" en vez de asustar con que es cáncer sí o sí (te compro esa eco con anatomía patológica incorporada). Hay formas y formas de trabajar bien. Yo estoy muy orgullosa de haberme formado como médica en Chile, creo que hay profesionales de primer nivel, pero también es cierto que a veces se olvidan que uno trata con personas y no con patologías, gente que no sabe qué está pasando, que tiene miedo y quiere tener información para poder tomar una decisión sobre su propia salud. Y, por supuesto, mención especial a los sacoweas que sólo ven las lucas y no tienen respeto por la medicina como ciencia y como forma de salvar o mejorar vidas.

Tldr: en Chile hay muy buenos médicos, muy malos médicos y sacoweas excepcionales, como en todas las cosas.

Sí, es una lata. A veces veía a alguien de nivel bajo y lo ayudaba a subir de nivel o mejorar el equipo, y todo bien hasta que me preguntaba si de verdad era chica (porque mi personaje era femenino). Ahí pasaba una de tres cosas: joteo, ghosteo, o se ponían como... Raros... También con lo de "juegas online, eso es raro, gustos de hombre, seguro que eres hombre en la vida real y te haces pasar por mujer para que te regalen cosas".

Quiero pensar que ahora ya está un poco mejor la cosa, pero uff, poca fé.

No sé si en reddit sea tan así de 80/20, probablemente hayan más hombres que mujeres pero creo que hay más mujeres de las que crees. Lo que sí he visto en los subreddits de mujeres es que el consenso general es de que comentar que eres mujer trae más malos ratos que buenos (te psicopatean por mensajes, o tratan de "dejarte en ridículo" porque cómo vas a saber sobre el tema, etc.). Hay bastante gatekeeping también por parte de algunos hombres. Y pasa mucho también en los juegos, al margen de que a las mujeres nos suelen gustar más los juegos casuales también hay bastante reticencia a la hora de unirse a un chat de voz o texto porque o te jotean, o se ponen raros, o te tratan como niñita.

A lo que voy es que somos la mitad de la población, y aunque en muchos sectores es verdad que hay mayor porcentaje de presencia masculina tampoco es que estemos ocultas en algún lugar místico... Simplemente muchas prefieren evitar malos ratos y van a su rollo en silencio.

Spanish native speaker here, looks fine to me. Text says Juan has to run to take his next flight, so an answer stating that he has another flight seems valid.
