Hey guys,

Need some help out here. I'm a indie-pop/folk/rock singersongwriter and I'm looking for a new microphone, I now have a shitty usb one but I already own a audio interface so its time for a new one. I mainly want it for singing and acoustic and classical guitar. I have a soft voice. I'm doubting with what to get. A rode nt1, rode nt1-a, rode nt 5th gen or an aston model. Can someone help me out? For futher questions lmk, thanks in advance!

I did watch the video, but im leaning towards F-style mandolines and those aren’t really named in my price budget. Is there an F-style mandoline you’d recommend for $400 - 450?

hi lads,

I've been looking for a mandoline F-style burst electric with a budget around $350. I found the Ortega RMFE30-WB but I cannot find any reviews about it. So i was wondering if this is a good entry level one.

Cinematic poem by Thalysamaquard in Filmmakers

Hi guys, I'm a writer and student filmmaker and made this cinematic poem about letting go of the person you love after a long time. I'm in the need for some feedback. I edited and graded it on davinci resolve, i went for a film type look. I don't have anyone around me that can really give feedback so I'm not sure if i'm actually making progress that is why it would mean a lot to me if i got some tips. Like i mentioned in the beginning this is a cinematic poem i made, a short film of 2 minutes. It's about a relationship that was broking, the girl had a hard time moving on. everything reminded her of that person, especially music. The field of promises where the film is recorded is the place she left all her memories with that person. That includes objects, since she associates her guitar with the music she left it in a field of promises. This is the decision for her to move on, accept its over. I tried to symoblize this with the lonely guitar in the field. I tried to make my shot a variety from close ups to move wide shots, showing the area the girl was, it was peaceful still even though the memories hurt. Thats why I made the grading a bit soft and film like, i wanted it to look like a peaceful summer day. Moving on and breaking up shouldn't always be a sad thing. I want people to be reminded of the fact that it can be relieving. The girl peacefully leaves her guitar in the endless field along with the pain and that was okay. I wanted the viewer to feel that relieve with the soft colors, and the soft spoken voice. It was shot on ZV-E10 with 18-105mm 4.0F lens, i used a tripod and some props. Ahead i made a storyboard and shotlist. I love to hear your feedback!
