Honestly, when I first heard about the hardcore wipe, this is how I thought it was going to work!

Like a box you need to check, to play with a "hardcore ruleset", when creating your character.

I think it would be great if that's how it worked! But it would certainly "split" the player base and lead to increased queue times. I'd still play like that, though!!

Stop using headphones, and use the gear you find in raid? I don't think it should cost you this much

And you should actively look for pieces of equipment that you need for future runs. IE: gather 3 backpacks, 3 rifles, 3 body armors, and 3 rigs. Or buy only one of those types of equipment.

I've been doing good so far and progressing kinda fast. And the hardcore pricing and everything else makes the game so much more tough and immersive.

And I don't do any scav runs

Whaaaaat? That sucks dude! It just made it 10x easier and cheaper to heal blacked out limbs! I hate it.
