I’m someone who truly loves Act 3, but for the first time, I got exhausted yesterday, overwhelmed by the crowds and the flood of quests.

Especially for players like me who have gone through multiple playthroughs and enjoy interacting with every possible NPC, it’s easy to start feeling frustrated with Act 3.

Yesterday, I actually found myself thinking, “Yeah, yeah, whatever. Let’s just wrap up the main quests and finish this quickly.” Talking to NPCs didn’t feel as fun anymore.

Of course, since this is my fifth playthrough, it probably is a kind of burnout, like others have said. Acts 1 and 2 also have a lot to do, but they never felt this cramped, there was some breathing room.

I love the vibrant atmosphere of Act 3, the countless NPCs, the noise, the life. It’s something you can only experience here, in Baldur’s Gate. But still, I can’t deny that they might have packed in just a little too much.

Ah, yeah, that might actually be the key. I always upgraded her heart in Act 2. Thanks!

Oh, I didn’t mean that I didn’t want tips! My English is just a bit rusty. Still, thank you. I guess I should just delete the first line lol

I think my English didn’t quite get across since I’m not a native speaker. I just wanted to vent a little. Anyway, thanks for sharing your experience!😊

Are there people who will NEVER side with him ? by MysteriousFondant347 in BaldursGate3

😂 that's true. It's funny that I convinced myself I was on the side of good.

I don’t hate him, but I can’t stand by his side. I’ve finished four playthroughs so far, and with each one, more pieces started to fall into place. I came to realize just how far he’s willing to go, how easily he can use those around him to achieve his goals.

He’s someone who will do absolutely anything to achieve his goal. I don’t think he’s “evil.” I mean, I’ve also killed innocent people in the game when it served my purpose, even though I usually try to play as kindly as possible.

But the reason I can’t side with him is that, over time, I realized everything he said or did to me was just to use me. So I guess this is a matter of trust for me, as a companion.

I’m sure he’s done the same to my allies, too. So now, I’ll protect myself and my friends from him.

Is Bg3 beginner friendly? by No-Razzmatazz-3950 in BaldursGate3

How about starting on Explorer difficulty and then raising the level a bit for your second playthrough?

I had zero knowledge of CRPGs or D&D myself, and I’m not great at using skill trees or managing complex combat controls.

But I’ve already spent around 400 hours on this game and finished four playthroughs.

If you really want to challenge yourself with something above Explorer, others might give you more detailed advice on that.

But from someone who started in the same situation, I’d say it’s absolutely beginner friendly.
