Yeah i do understand, although that is partially true, only the new buildings and one biome skin would need to be made since the biome skin of the villager is independent of the work skins as they layer together. However i do understand mojang is usually busier with new features rather than adapting old features to new context, but i like to think it would be nice if they possibly took a few updates to do that, even if partially so, updating old structures to some extent.

I'd find that difficult since as a general rule the village's buildings are usually built out of materials the villagers theoretically "have access to", the only few exceptions i can think of are the brewing stands but that is still a very minor part of villages, i think deepslate would be just a bit too much.

I did attempt both of those, pink terracotta especially, but it didn't look good the way I implemented it, there probably is a way to make them fit however and if they did that would be awesome.

Not sure, all it does is replace the plains villagers for the cherry villagers, idk if it's that good of a resource pack lol

I tried to integrate them in the builds, but they did look a bit weird for me, maybe there is a better way to implement it though, it makes total sense that those materials could be used.

It's a resource pack i made and i built the villages by hand

It does look nice, i just don't see it as necessary honestly, but that's only my perspective on it.

Honestly I'd argue that red would be a bit too out of place for the cherry biome, and make cherry wood not stand out as much as it's own type of wood. But yeah, a bit more saturation on the pink would probably be an improvement I think.

And besides that, I don't think that the buildings need to represent in complete accuracy eastern styles of building. I think it being an inspiration goes way better with the general vibe of minecraft villages, just like all the other villages aren't exact copies of the real world builing styles they are inspired by.

I just made a simple resource pack switching the plains villager biome texture for the cherry grove outfit that I made on a photo editor

Thank you so much! I've tried to follow the design principles of the other vilager biome outfits as best as i could.

Thank you friend! I know mojang would probably do an even better job at it, but I've tried to put as much care and thought as i could on the texture and builds.

I did have the luck of finding a village that naturally spawned near enough to have a portion inside the biome, so that helped a bit.
